(Sorry if this is Beardown-y and didn't need its own thread.)

Did they always do this? I don't remember it being a weekly staple before, they used to only air the 'important' ones and even better put drops over them to show their lack of importance.

Dan whines about him being late, and has always had the problem with the general nonsense of football-coachspeak (which is indeed annoying), and injury non-updates...so why bother airing them?

Is the simplest explanation the correct one: they're lazy and want the break?

I'm sure it because of sponsorship and perhaps because the others stations (probably) air it.

It is a waste of time because coaches (regardless of team) provide much information.

I think even that gives Matty too much credit. He doesn't filter for dumb callers, most callers are dumb and he just puts whoever through.
