We can rip North all we want, but he would be trying to get #15 on his show rather then scolding him because he heard that his PR buddy at the Bears is scared of Marshall.

Or get an eyewitness to what they're attributing to Marshall.

The Communications guy is his friend, of whom Brandon made sit in the corner while he did his own media show. This is the guy who Bernsstein gets everything from.

Drinky would have to make a call. Like you have said Big Fan, he's bitter and sees no point in trying to produce B&B anymore. He just kicks his feet up for 5 hours when he does produce it. He's working a "Bad and unfunny update career" now.

I've suggested that drinky try to get all of B&B's enemies on the air. Be it media people or sports people. That would be entertaining. It won't happen.

Not when danny communicates with the guy you make the request with. Matty would follow up, but the initial request is Dannys in this case.

Bravo Big Fan...they also flap their gums , but never with the person they are slamming. Sort of like sports talk bullying.I remember they had an interview with Kareem who was promoting his cancer fund , and that little fucking weasel Bernstien laying in the weeds asked him about the Alford hiring. What a Douche.

One of the great things about Howard Stern is him getting thousands of his enemies on the air with him over his career. B&B don't do that. They hide from that. Both are pussies and scared when it comes down to it.

Drinky spends a lot of the show on twitter, usually telling critics to PTFB.

Exactly. Many athletes dont like B&B. I know a guy who played in the NHL for the Caps & Kings, and Dan & Terry arent respected.

He loves behaving like a high school punk with B&B's cover. What happened when Goff no longer had that cover?

Toward the end of today's show, Danny was lamenting the fact that the talking points are already out there, i.e. nothing happened in the locker room. He pointed to Jon Bostic saying as much on their show. I texted in and asked why he didn't ask Bostic the "hard hitting follow up questions" about that as he demands of the reporters at a Trestman presser. I didn't get a response.

Why would someone who had a cup of coffee in the league, and didn't even play in this city, know who Dan and Terry are, or even give a shit about what they say?

He was in the league for 7 years and is from Chicago and lives here now. This guy and his Family basically have a hall pass to the UC. His Father worked for the Hawks for 30+ years. He grew up around the team. A very famous ex Hawk stays at his house when in town. You wouldnt believe some of the stories he has told me. Anyway, we have talked many times about the media, the Score and the hosts. Most players laugh at Berns and think he is a boob.

In the first part of this post you rip Bernsie for not directly asking someone a tough question. In the second part of this post you rip Bernsie for asking someone a tough question directly when given an opportunity.

Bernstein sucks, but you're an idiot.

That would be like they asked you on the show to talk about your love for marijuana, and their 2nd question is why do you love to suck donkey dick!

The thing is, back when B&b were actually entertaining, you never missed athletes being interviewed. They almost never really say anything anyway. And the show is actually only ostensibly a sports show. Sports was just the platform for them to do their thing, which used to be damn funny. Now, it's still not a sports show, it's a boring public service announcement with dan scolding and spreading guilt among his listeners. Which is why an interview with a moronic professional athlete would come as a welcome respite.

Guilt?
The homosexual references and "gay" jokes was a staple when they were "funny".
Kiddy diddling "funny"
Misogyny "funny"
The absence of classism or elitism, funny
Dan not being an obnoxiously overbearing dick and flaming asshole, funny.
Terry still when he had thought and before the neck surgery causing him to become a bobbing headed parrot, funny.

The listeners, most still have a sense of humor and are not guilty.

I still think Bernstein blocks me on Twitter or if there is another version where he doesnt let me follow him....lol? Not sure if the difference exists....I think I have tweeted him 3 times now.

1. Will donate to your charity if you can go 24 hours without mentioning your son.

2. You're Welcome for the largest donation of your recent request

3. Have you ever asked to have B. Marshall on your show?

All pretty vicious stuff.

Any subject can be funny if it's handled the right way. If you take offense at joking about the things you mentioned above, I'm not sure why you ever listened to the show at all.

Over the past year, I would look and see his profile and I would click FOLLOW....then I would think I did it at one time, but guess I didnt...then would look again a few months later and see I am not following him....and would think I thought I did...so I would hit click the FOLLOW again....and Now I am sure I had hit FOLLOW...and he either removes me or blocks me...which is fine, fits him to be the only person on Twitter that blocks me...can't wait to see him again and ask the simple question of WHY? Not that I care, but want to see him turn red and act like the pussy he is.

Funny you mention that. We have a neighbor whose brother played LB for the Broncos. Forgot the guy's name (she's married so it would he her maiden name which I don't remember). Guy is probably 55-ish so that tells you about when he played. Had a nice NFL career (9 seasons or so, IIRC).

Spent a lot of time chatting with at a neighborhood 4th party. One guy said his kid wanted to get into broadcasting and that started a whole discussion. Basically, LB brother guy's position was that people who haven't walked in that world simply don't get it. Comparable to being in a band I guess. Not only the partying, but the interactions between players. He said no other profession exists where you can look back on your career and point to at least a dozen times when you've gotten into fistfights with your co-workers and then did shots together 5 minutes later. Alpha dogs mixing up with other alpha dogs. He also went on to say what many think - which is 'unless you've done this at this level, you have no idea'.

So, I think about Bernstein and any reporter for that matter. Once I heard 'Bears players screaming and fighting in locker room' - I thought - sure. Why wouldn't they? They just sucked. They are massively underachieving. And once we heard it was Brandon Marshall - why should we be surprised? He's a vocal guy. So what? If Dallas had a blow up, I'd expect Dez Bryan to be in it. If Carolina has a blow up, I'd expect Cam Newton to be in it. Why is it an issue? If the Lovie era Bears had a blow up, I'd certainly expect Olin Kreutz to be in the middle.

I like that they give a shit. It all comes down to Bernstein doing what he does best - creating a narrative. Brandon Marshall had issues in his past so he WILL have them again - this is proof!!! No. By all accounts from what I've heard - Marshall, Gould, Bostic, Long and Peanut (as well as many ex players) - this stuff happens all the time when teams play like crap. I get the sense that some even want to say 'you are a dorky Northwestern grad reporter. You have no idea what it is like to be a professional athlete. This happens in locker rooms all the time and frankly, should be none of your concern'.

And I'm ok with that.
