Everyone's dropping the ball on doing a show thread. They must want to make sure they can attend their sons' graduations. |

Terry: People ask me a lot, "Who's running the Bears?" That has never happened. Ever. |

I don't think Marshall is any kind of leader but using the fact that he "gave out t-shirts" as evidence is pretty stupid. That's just the kind of crap that "great leaders" do all the time, not that it means anything. I just think it's kind of meaningless one way or the other. |

Sometimes, when The Great Pontificator goes off on an unplanned screed, he finds himself in nicely ensconced in territory he would rebuke any and all for finding themselves in. Today's show seems to be one of those 'sometimes'. |

WTF? That's not so crazy to me, as you said "the thing has fallen apart" so new questions should be asked. It's more a reflection on Emery's failure. Unless Dan's saying Emery was a failed hire because he wasn't hired by a football czar. I'll hang up and continue to not listen. |

They had tape of Hub going "one-on-one" with Mel Tucker that they teased before a break. DON'T GO ANYWHERE!! Hub had the nut sack to basically ask the same question twice. He did, heh heh, say prior to asking again something like "I'm not trying to call you out here...". Mel immediately pissed his pants and ran out of the room. Heh heh. |

Hub wouldn't take no for an answer. The first time. The second time he didn't have a problem with it. |

Since Dan likes Deadspin so much, why didn't he mention this story? http://deadspin.com/sports-columnist-loses-his-mind-over-derrick-rose-1657998407 Is it because he is doing the exact same thing? |

I remember the good old days, when the acquisition of Marshall signaled the Bears' laudable willingness to ignore mundane concerns like "character" and instead build a 21st-century football team composed of STUDDZ™. |

Or because Dan isn't going to break bad on Rosenbloom. And man, Tom Ley is a jock-sniffing bitch and a half. This is no exception. Quote: It was perhaps a little clumsy of Rose to include "meetings" as a thing he's trying to keep himself healthy for Quote: Despite how sane and generally unremarkable Rose's comments were Perhaps? Sane?!? It's a non-contact sport! |

Here's a fun thought experiment: imagine Ley's response if Darren Rovell tweeted that Rose sold preserve his ankles for future business meetings. |

We need to ban "hot take." All Deadspin does is go "oooooh, nice hot take!" -- which I think was originally a Grantland thing, anyway -- to dismiss anything they don't like in between writing their own h-- t---s about how terrible Kevin Durant is for not being black enough for them. |
