Bernstein: As you know this is more than just a sports show. We do discuss social issues and we will never apologize for that. Today, I decided to assemble a panel to discuss Ferguson and race in America. Joining me are Laurence Holmes, Jason Goff and West side Mike. I'll start. The fact that their was no indictment of that racist, cracker KKK police officer was a complete injustice. It was sickening.

Laurence: That's right, Dan!!!!

Jason Goff: Speak it, brother!!!!

West Side Mike: I'd like to add that it was HOT GARBAGE!!!!!

Bernstein: That concludes are discussion on Ferguson and race in America. Up next, we'll discuss the Wang-whippers of the NBA.

I listened for the first time in ages yesterday.

Just the Dan Durkin interview

Bernstein asked why they dont go down field and let these guys make a play


Terry chimed in few minutes later and talked off going down field.

It was awkward because Durkin had to come up with a second version of the question he just spent 5 minutes answering

The only guy that Dan trusts among the people around Derrick Rose is Arn Tellem. He's probably right but here's a blurb on that guy (It's from Wikipedia, so you know it's accurate) -

Tellem is a native of Philadelphia. His mother named him after a brave knight in the Prince Valiant comic strip.[9][10] He grew up on the Main Line and became a sports junkie at age eight by playing APBA Baseball, a mail-order board game. Years later, for luck on his wedding night, he propped his treasured 1938 Hank Greenberg APBA card on the nightstand next to the conjugal bed.

As they just used it for the outro ... 'fun' note on "I've Got a Man" I never knew until recently ... the 'woman' he raps with in the song is actually also Positive K with some recording trickery

Do they watch these games? I'm guessing not since I don't see Terry searching out ESPN3 on the internet.

Illinois basketball has been rolling against some pretty bad competition, admittedly. They had a bad half against Brown but I think they're still 2nd in the country in offense.

Danny calling out Jim Thompson on being gay and you know he has enough info to confirm it or he would have never said it. For Danny thhats tough guy radio, unless he just got a call from the legal department, as I am pretty sure he is correct, but Thompson has gone to some lengths to never come out of the closet.
