Bernsy sounds very angry about Rose, and I like it! I'm getting sick of our delicate flower. Should be a feelgood show today. |

I'm perhaps more struck by Mannely - obviously far less invective than Dan, but no less critical - and completely correct. |

I don't get Dan's befuddlement with the Bulls mixed messages over whether Rose was re-injured or benched. That's what they do, give out confusing and mixed messages, from the front office to the coach (he called Taj Gibson day-to-day even though he's not even on the trip) to 'unreliable narrator' Rose himself. so Rose said he was 'fatigued'...so what? Rose says shit all the time he doesn't mean, as the show often rips him for. So why take it as gospel now just to trap him in some kind of lie? |

Apparently, he thinks no one ever lies and that organizations have some moral imperative to be honest with people. He lives in a fantasy world. |

well, someone brought it up and after the shouting (granted, all the caller had to say was 'the fatigue comment' when asked 'SPECIFICALLY WHAT?') and Dan says you can't assume Rose doesn't mean what he's saying just because he's bad at communicating. Well fine, but you also can't assume he DOES mean what he's saying either. The 'fatigue' comment that Boers is harping on then is easily dismissed as Rose being weird and not wanting to admit he's sore, or conflating fatigue with soreness, or any other thing. Ah well, it's all football from here on out anyway. |

I agree that Dan is a dumbass. (I wish I could stop here since this would be the most accurate post ever, or second most since I'm agreeing with someone who said it, but I reluctantly go on.) There is no imperative to be truthful regarding internal dynamics. You want the truth then do good journalism. Don't expect everyone to speak truthfully then act outraged when they choose to strategically obfuscate to protect their interests instead of indulging your dumbass. |

Bernstein went on one of his mini crusades as an aside to the Rose drama. To paraphrase: "If you are going to criticize Rose's weakness/softness on social media, that's fine, but don't say he's like a woman (or a woman's body part). Women are strong." Must be trying to get laid tonight. |

I don't know who it will be - CH, Tad, sini - but if that doesn't get a shopped pic of Bernstein with a Fedora and a "M'Lady" graphic on it, I will be most displeased. |

Bernstein: Don't refer to Rose as a pussy. It demeans women. Infers that they are weak. WOMEN ARE STRONG!!! Beardown: As strong as the wang-whippers? Bernstein: Let's not get carried away. No. But as strong as the Jewish lawyers and doctors that I hang with at my fitness center. Beardown: Oy. |

The thing about B.J, if he thought he should be a GM, why didn't he pursue it elsewhere? Instead of being salty that Pax got it over him? He got out of the NBA managment biz and what does he do now? He's just Rose's manager? No other clients? |
