The only day all year where even B&B can't screw up their own show. I love the Quote of the Year Show except when dumb quotes like Rongey's wins. But, this year has to be a shoe-in for Tresty's not being aware of everything he's aware of quote. Plus, love to hear some old quotes. Hopefully, Corey Crawford Talk is kept to a minimum. |

I love the "architect of the Iron Curtain" quote. All-timer. |

Rongey shouldn't have won it last year. That's not even the best Score drop with "penis" in it, that being Doug's "Penis had a hell of a game." |

Some personal favorites: "Skip Perry, Skip Caray, whose pappy was the legendary Harry, and whose son is Skip, died in his sleep last night, make that his son Chip." "Let's go out to...Black. I don't know where you're from, Black, but you're on the air." "He'd look pretty good on the back end of Lou Piniella's staff." "Meet the Score's Anne Maxfield between 12 and noon." |

The "handful of Ukrainian seamen" is just a funny drop. Also, "my biggest fear is dying in a hotel room by myself" are both good ones. Must be a strong field this year. |

Other than that little tweak, that's a great alignment. Minnesota really stands to gain from that. They have rivalries with Milwaukee/GB and/or Chicago in everything else, then the NBA has them with Denver, Portland, Salt Lake City, and Oklahoma City. Weird. Certainly looks better than the NHL's "travel-saving" schedule that has Detroit with Boston and Miami. |

It's Trestman for sure. That said, I seem to recall about a 50 great Les-isms over the year. Can't recall any specific ones, but I'm thinking there were some better ones that the Eagles one. |

I would guess Les will have his own montage/segment/award at some point ... it borders on being an imperative. |

We have a Christmas event at work the same time every year and it was always the same day as the Quote show, but it wasn't last year. |

I for one am totally shocked that Bernstein is a wasteful turd. Perhaps his financial planner could explain to him the concept of throwing away money. |
