Who knows. I PTFB as soon as I heard them introduce him. Waddle & Silvy are playing parody songs. Discussing the Bears getting Harbaugh now.

I have to laugh when I hear Dan plugging a charity. I won't donate a dime to anything he's supporting. He's the one who said these people should be shot.

http://www.thepostgame.com/features/201 ... craigslist

From the article:

Phil Aldrich, a 26-year-old Tennessean, spent much of his childhood at St. Jude Research Hospital in Memphis, where his sister was being treated for A-plastic anemia, a form of leukemia.

Walking 1,900 miles with goat to raise money to fight cancer = bad and worthy of being shot

Asking for donations on your radio show so cancer kids can go to camp = good and noble

Fuck you, Danny.

That would be quite the mistake my friend. You see, Dan has a great offer just for you for listening to the show. Dan is close personal friends with a guy who get the best grapes and the best juice from the best vineyards in the world and he rebottles it under his own label and sells it for a fraction of the price! It's totally legit! The best California wines at half the cost just for you, just for listening to the show! Dan has a California cabernet that's so big you could(read: should) leave it on your wine rack for 15 years before opening! This wine is so good that they could afford to ship you an entire case across the country with free s&h and still make a profit!

So Danny boy just said "It's never been safer to be a police officer in this country, and it's never been less safe to be a black man...."

huh? guessing a black man had a much tougher time in the early part of the 20th century..

And on cue, Bernstein does the Ferguson/Rams thing.

'And if you are playing with a toy'

And Berstein touts the Deadspin talking points versus the facts.

As per usual, Bernstein just rants far lefty Gawker media talking points without any factual basis.

And he brings up the case in Ohio - 'a toy'. Conveniently leaves out the facts.

At least Terry disagreed with him.

Dan - 'Rams players have every right to do that'. How so Dan?

One would think the reason a lot more cops end up shooting african american males is because a lot more african american males are involved in criminal altercations with cops? If 65% of prisoners are african american, then that is a pretty basic correlation.... of course that would be the case given the population and sample for the situation

I love the oh so genuine vocal inflections Dan uses when doing the commercial read for that stupid wine shit.

When he uses the descriptors - a nice oaky broad shiraz. Is it possible for a human being to sound any less manly then when they describe wine? It's wine. It's not the ambrosia of the God's or Scarlett Johansson's booby sweat - it's fricking aged grape juice. Lighten up, Pajama Boy.

Like Guiliani said 'we put cops in the places where the crime is'

But Dan knows all of this because he grew up on the hard streets of Northbrook, yo. And hey, he knew some black guys when he had something to do with some basketball league no one has ever heard of.

Merely that since a lot more minorities are sent to prison (whether justified or due to racism/cop persecution), than likely a lot more minorities would be involved in cop shootings...

Why are more minorities sent to prison though?

Economic injustices? I don't know the answer to that one...just pointing out Bernstein statement was off

For the same reason other people go to prison - for committing a crime.

Why do they commit more crime in proportion to non
minorities?

Because they're black. That's what you want him to say, right?

Dan Bernstein should leave his politics out of the show. I know, way too late. However, a comment like this is pretty ignorant.

I don't care if the Rams players do that; at the same time, they display their ignorance of facts.

Did he really say this is as dangerous as its ever been to be black? I mean, he's not wrong about police really, but it's been wayyyyy more dangerous to be black. He's old enough to even remember times that were, right?

I am just going to guess 1968 Chicago pretty bad for the black man and I am not even thinking of the south yet.

None of that fits his narrative or current world view, so it is ignored.

If that is the position people want to take, I want to heat their reasoned arguments as to how race is correlated to criminality.

I doubt this the safest time to be a cop.

I would bet 1940-1960 was as safe a time as any with the position being held in the highest esteem.

I'll give Terry credit for pushing back on the narrative. Dan, of course, globalized the debate once Terry re-acted to Dan's false narrative.
