Just so I understand - Terry's Guy that originally said that Emery and Trestman were "no doubt" coming back is now saying that the winds have changed and now they might be on the hot seat but that might change again. Sounds like a real "inner-sanctum" source. |

I don't understand the confusion over who is charge. There doesn't seem to be any doubt or questioning that Phil Emery hired Marc Trestman. I assume he has to recommend his selection to ownership, but they are likely to grant him his selection. Why would firing Trestman be any different than firing him? Emery makes his recommendation and the ownership approves (all but a certainty if they aren't firing Emery). |

Apparently Bernstine passionately protects the sponsors. I realize it's a rule of corporate radio, but since I'm not a B&B caller I can point out things like Ditka getting ripped by Boers and Bernstine and then Ditka doing Motorwerks commercials. Does this mean B&B are doing Motorwerks a disservice? This is not a shot at Motorwerks, I'm sure they're great people. |
