This has become "A THING"

Not only has his own station not wanted to report it, so Mully and Hanley had Bernstein on the air for him to report his story. Pompei, Mully, Biggs, all guys well connected at Halas Hall have heard nothing...thus they report nothing and make sure it is tied back to Bernstein.

Heard Sarah Spain says "CBS is Reporting'...but she questioned it and even said, 'We arent confirming it"

Carm then jumped in and stated the obvious. 'Dont we all know he is gone?"

Of course Dan is sticking to his lie! Remember he said Likely! and Probable!

2 questions remain:

IF this meeting took place before the Monday night game and Dan found out about it after the game on Monday night, why turn in some 'story' about some oil anology?

Second, this story is being tied back to Bernstein on every level as nobody else has confirmed it. If it is true, especially after the Kromer leaks, how can you not go right to Scott Hagel and fire him as well on dec 29th?

I still dont believe anyone said Shit to Bernstein about Tresty getting canned and he is just reported the obvious as a story now, I think almost every journalist agrees as none of them want to report it, but all attach it back to Bernstein from every outlet.

Bernstein just continues to make it tough to be on the right side of an issue!

It's a lie. We all know that.

Let's just assume it's not. Ok. Reporters get stuff every now and then. We all know that. But Bernstein's source calls him every damn day with stuff? Daily, if not hourly, updates to Dan Bernstein and only Dan Bernstein.

Why? What's the upside for Hagel or whomever it is? There is none. Probably a good paying job. Maybe close to 100k I would guess. Why do you risk that job so Dan Bernstein can report daily updates on what's going on? Makes no sense.

It's actually kind of sick and weird if true. This mole at Halas Hall calling Bernstein every day. "They're gonna fire him." "We're scared of Brandon Marshall". "All of the McCaskey's just stare at each other and then say, let's go to lunch."

Here's what makes it more obvious that it's bullshit.

Terry nodded his head after Bernstein reported the meeting and said, "Yep, that's what my guy said."

Wow. What a coincidence. The two guys who work a show together are the only two guys in the city to have info that a meeting took place and that he'll be fired.

Bernstein quickly used Boers lie as cover for his lie saying "With Terry's guy we now have two different sources telling us the same thing."

Once again, what a coincidence that the two afternoon hosts on the Score are the only ones to get it. Two different sources, no less. :lol: :roll:

It just hit me. Bernstein knows he's lying obviously. So when Boers confirms Dan's bullshit story by saying his guy said the same thing, Bernstein must think to himself, "Damn, old man, you really are a crazy cracker."

In the old days of Spports talk you could call Danny and ask, if they are leaking info to you and you are reporting it, why dont the McCaskeys try and find the person giving you info and fire him?

and an actual discussion would take place, now Dan turns down the volume on the caller, talks over him and hangs up because that guy sis just "stupid". Everything that made the place, Dan doesnt approve of.

Exactly. That's how he does it. He looks for things that are at least 95% gonna happen. The drink learned this from him. In fact I'll bet after a few drinks at a bar during Super Bowl week, Bernstein told his underling exactly how he does it.
