And like I've said in many many other threads (no acronym there), Dan's whole thing is that he's whatever he says is until he isn't, at which point he never was.

Serious question... did Terry's "guy"confirm this meeting after Bernsie reported it?

Bernsie got away with this one.

But, they clearly answered in a fashion that no meeting like that ever happened at any time.

Look, I'm not gonna bother to do it, but if you go back to the days after that Packers game, you'll hear Bernstein confirming Wayne's story. Where he said he got that info, too.

I'm sure it was written about in threads here, too.

When Mully had Bernstein on the day after Dan "broke" his news, Dan absolutely referenced that Green Bay meeting. He said something to the effect of "The first meeting was after the Green Bay game, you know the weird one with the security guards, there was a voice who wanted change but was sort of shouted down by the others who were comfortable with status quo. But as time went on blah blah blah by the time the meeting before the Saints game occurred, that voice gained traction blah blah blah and the decision was made to fire Trestman".

So while he might not have initially reported it, it was definitely part of the timeline of his version of the events.

Just to make this clear. Bernstein reported that it could be Blunk as President at the beginning of his show.

So he has to come out today and say he was dead wrong.

Accorsi was hired and it was clear the way Teddy was talking yesterday that he was never in jeopardy of not being President. In fact, he came across looking like he was George's boss. He interrupted George to make it clear that Acorrsi will just give him recommendations and that he would be making the call on the GM.

Didn't say Bernstein's name, though. I just don't get why Rozner doesn't say that to Bernstein.
