Where do we stand on running backs? Replacement level or a vital part of winning?

I don't listen to this garbage. I tried ESPN 1000 for 10 seconds. That's worse. Remember when these guys were a fad?

I have this station on. I guess the one above is on at 2:00.

Wow, Bernstein must of been living under a rock in the 90's. 90's music was uninspiring? Did he miss the big 90's alternative rock scene led by Nirvana? I could list hundreds of bands but I'm sure you guys know most of them.

Berns is right about the 1990's.

Berns strikes me as the type who doesn't actually enjoy music. Maybe he likes a few songs on the radio but probably doesn't own any albums. There must not be any 90's albums in the "best album" lists he uses to determine his official music taste.

Personally, I've begun to care less about football over the past two years. I watched football every Sunday starting in 2000 but something has changed. Maybe I experienced football overload.

I used to watch football all day from noon to 10pm(with breaks in b/w, obviously).

I haven't seen any of the playoffs games, I only passively listened to them on the radio. In the pass I'd be pissed off i f i missed any of these games.

At least Bowen didn't drop in the obligatory mention of "Coach Gibbs".

No he's not. The 90s were a great decade. Hip-hop was still fresh and undiluted and so many great alternative rock bands emerged. The electronic dance acts today suck compared to all the different genres and groups that came out of Britain during the 90s.

Dan is a dope on music, possibly by his own admission. I've never heard him demonstrate any sort of facility with anyone other than R.E.M. and NWA. What a pair.

i'm pretty damn sure that dan once claimed to have seen rakim perform back in the day. shit i even referenced it in that b&b dance music thing i did. although, he could have been clever and not mentioned the fact that he saw only RAKIM and not ERIC B & RAKIM (last LP 1992) which is a huge difference.

quick name your favorite cut off of 18th letter! or name the LP after 18th letter!

Don't forget Public Enemy. Dan's the angry black man he is today because of them.

So many great albums came out from 1992-1996. I'm not even of that generation but I love it. You could actually decipher lyrics.

Demo by an 18 yr old Nas.

The first WSCR website had a little bio for each on-air personality, and IIRC Dan listed Dave Brubeck and Public Enemy as his favorite musicians.

Dave Brubeck is who you say you like when you want to say "I am a person who has the capacity to appreciate jazz."

I mean, Take Five is an all-time great album, of course.

I remember that, and his favorite movie was Love and Death from noted child rapist Woody Allen. He was for child rape before he was against it.

Hey, I love Love and Death, too. The "to love is to suffer" scene cracks me up. Have we decided Woody Allen is a rapist? Is the evidence in?

I personally don't think he is but I'm blinded by my love for his movies. The optics count.

Haha, "optics" makes this one of your posts where you post in character. The subtle art of the half-mult.
