I think I just played Mac in 8-ball pool for the iPhone. His moniker was "Mac" and it just seemed like him.

i had a nice conversation with herb during the walk over to the UC from the bar, and he ended up sitting right in front of me during the game. he was fun to banter with during the game, as there was no aura of "holier than thou" or anything that you might expect from someone who works at the station. he was effectively "one of us" on that day.

didn't goff show up for one of the CSFMB hoops meetups, or was that just hot air about how he'd junk everyone on the court if he were to show up?

I would assume a few are. This site is one of the top links if you search "670 the score" on google. Is Dan's retort to callers who mention message boards "to stay away from those sites" a passing shot at this site?

i'd say that it's likely a pyrrhic victory for them to post here, especially if they take a lot of heat like good ol meatpants or mac in his post-MJH years. mac seemed like he used to be more of a "regular poster" ~7 years ago or whatever, but more recently he's just used the board to make his own threads which quickly become a referendum on mac himself, with the usual ALS saying "i like you, mac!" an the usual haters going "HAHAHAH YOU SUCK JUST LIKE YOU'VE ALWAYS SUCKED!" i remember some references to bernstein possibly having an account here years ago? i forgot what caused him to stop. when spiegel first got the danny mac show gig in 09 or whatever he came here and made an account and a post about how he'd be here in the trenches with us and he's always going to be around and etc etc. but then i believe he got some heat and promptly got out of the kitchen in under a week, if not a day or two. c'est la vie. if anything i bet producers/interns make accounts here to "anonymously" talk shit, as there's been countless times over the years some new/obscure name pops up to say something and it's like "so who are you at the station?" --- but other people keep track of this stuff way more than i. ask beardown in a PM if this thread title doesn't attract him.

I don't think anybody from there pays attention to what is said here anymore. Used to, 3-4 years ago maybe. None of them have posted here in years. But, they all do the Twitter thing now.
