On today’s show, the guys will discuss the stripping of JRW’s US title and what it means to the City of Chicago, which was saved/rejuvenated by the team’s run. Dan will discuss the optics of taking the title from a group of black kids, and whether Little League should continue to monetize everything from now on. Terry should have some new info from his Little League guy, and a fresh debate will occur, even though THIS IS NOT A DEBATE. Guys, IT’S ABOUT BOUNDARIES. I’m not sure what’s so difficult for people to understand. Listen, so you can hear Dan walk the fine line between kissing black people’s asses, and arguing with them. It’s sure to be a remarkable show. |

I agree with their stance. However, whenever someone calls in and says that everybody is cheating, their response is "does that make it right?"? And my kneejerk response is, how is college basketball and Calipari different from Little League, which sold its soul to ESPN years ago? |

Bernstein: I'm told Theo is pleased with the decision to take the title from the black kids. He was always the loudest voice in the room on this for quite some time. He's very satisfied the that white Vegas kids were ruled the true champions. Boers: Yep. My guy said the same thing. Bernstein: Really? So there you have it. from a sampling of score callers, it seems most dont know or dont care that one of the main rules is the boundary rule... so people are making excuses for them. I kind of all ready felt bad for the Vegas team because they had beaten JRW earlier in the tourney and they just so happened to lose the rematch (both teams finished with 1 tourney loss).. that seemed silly as why didnt they play a game the following day since every other team could lose 1 time and still make it to the title game |
