When you dine out and the wait staff is pushing an item, odds are they have too much of it and not enough have ordered it.

Heard a few too many "Listen to B&B commercials " this morning....as if someone who is listening to the Score doesnt know who BB are? or are people tuning out? I know I have

heard 2 during Les and 2 during M&H...

So please tune in, the numbers are falling.

*Maybe the JRW thing saved them....wouldn't that be appropriate!

Just like the last few days before the poker tournament when they still have a bunch of open spots.

And that's even after Dan said the room was smaller this year, because nothing says your event is really gaining popularity like moving to a smaller venue.

Bad fots and I think he's an even worse face of the charity.

What reputable charity would use that truculent genius as a spokesman?

His entire on-air persona revolves around the humiliation of others. Generally that's not a quality that elicits generosity in others.

He's not the face of the charity, he is just a board member. I think there are several doctors on the board as well who probably are able to sell tickets to their colleagues but not get them to attend. Only Score guys need to squeeze every dime out of their donation

daily specials are usually the freshest item on the menu. random specials are all the last drops from all the bottles on the shelf poured into one drink

He's the face that I (and some others) see and he sucks.

Post subject:  Re: 2/13 Push The Fish Today

He is the face of the board in the sense he is in the only one in Media, so its part of the job to promote it , nobody else does that.

I have been involved with this charity well before Dan came on board. A friend of mine from Childhood is the actual director, my family has donated massive efforts of over 100 people doing work for the charity, plus an annual event donation.....

All that said, his involvement alone has a net negative effect and should be looked at very carefully....the reltionship is tenuous and fluid.

Yet, its a charity, most would never turn down anyones efforts or donations.

Remember bernstein took our $240 donation and then blocked me on twitter. LOL...

Dont see the RANDOM SPECIALS promoted much.

Specials are RARELY fresh. From the wholersaler to the establishment, its what they have too much of.

I think it was Lewis Black who said he believed Jagrmeister wasn't actually a real drink, but made by wringing out whatever was in the bar rag.

I would bet that Bernstein hasn't donated a dime to this charity. In his mind, pimping it is his contribution.

I remember once during an update Rongey calling Bernstein a jerk and Dan's reply..."How can I be a jerk with all the charity work I do!?" This comment alone puts him 2nd runner up behind Kanye West with "Lack of Self Awareness" sash around his neck.

Ranger's response to Bernstein should have been "Jerry Sandusky also had a camp for underprivileged kids."

Media guys donating time to speak or MC, is not really a donation in my eyes. I know it is to them

Mike North often claimed he wasn't a racist due to his friendship with Jerry Riles.

You can't deduct volunteer work for which you don't get paid BUT you can deduct the expenses you incur for volunteer work.
I'd be shocked if the Score Kings print out of itemized "charity work" isn't taller than he is.
Dry Cleaning $500 - Multiple kids with cancer breathed on me
Expired Meat for Poker tournament $1,500
Radio Air Time $25,000
CH Boxed Wine in a Bottle Corp - $10,000
Body Guard - $5,000

And that's even after Dan said the room was smaller this year, because nothing says your event is really gaining popularity like moving to a smaller venue.

Makes you wonder if anybody actually signs up for that thing other than the guys like Ten Foot Moron, Maddux Boy and all the other Bernstein groupies who are just trying to get a whiff of Dan's nutsack.

during the 5 minutes i listened yesterday, he was admonishing callers that if they are calling to win entry "they better show up" and went off on a long rant about it ...guessing they must have had a lot of no-shows last year

he's complained before that for any prize giveaway people who win tickets dont end up going... so its not specific for this event... but given the entry fee it would be a shame for that ticket to go unused... whereas who gives a crap about $10 white sox tickets that go unused
