Predictable disappointment from Dan's helper monkeys about the McDonald signing and how he was proud when the Honey Bears went away. Wish someone could get a recording and play for him Marshall trade day.

I have no idea if this guy is good but not being charged let alone convicted of something seems a reason for him to never play football to me.

Dan has a feeler out to inquire why the Bears haven't said anything yet. I love how Dan and Terry are so angry over the Bears signing an abuser.

(four hours from now)

Coming up next, Bears All Access with Zach Zaidman!

I'm sure if you dig deep enough, you'd feel that way about a significant % of NFL players.

I'd fine with any player who has done similar things never playing football again either.

Your honey bear comment reminded me of a line from an Archer episode I watched last night. Archer's mom used her agent son as a "honeypot" to lure a gay Cuban agent. I liked the term and had never heard it used before in that context.

As long as he's making plays, I don't care if he raped my grandma. Go Bears!

I can see how you feel that way. For me, I prefer to keep the justice in the legal system. If sports leagues did this then they would not have all these issues. You do a crime you do your time and/or fine. If anyone wants you after that then fine. Example is Vick. I have no need for my sports leagues to have some parallel arbitrary social justice system.

How would you feel if you have convicted felons in your CSFMB MM tourney?

How did Dan not already know that they were going to sign McDonald? I would think that someone with his level of inside knowledge would have been aware of this.

Yes. Sent out the pre-move feelers to gauge the enviornment.

You know what's funny about this NFL? If McDonald was on the Bears last year, Pace wouldn't have him on the team. He'd cut him. And if Brandon Marshall was on another team last year, Pace would trade for him.

It just seems like getting somebody elses bad guys is acceptable for new GMs. But he doesn't like the current bad guys that he inherited. All 32 teams just rotate their criminals.

The NFL is something.

Yup. That's what I think, too. I might not necessarily want to cheer for the guy, but if someone wants to offer them a job in their chosen field after they've done their time or paid their fine I don't see why they should be denied that opportunity.

3 times?

I'd think you'd get out of the house forever after the second domestic violence arrest.

I wouldn't go back after the first one. Next time she lied I'd probably be at 26th and Cal. I think she couldn't understand why I really never spoke to her again.

I do not get the Bernsie "at this time" meme. He has been doing this all off season. That the Bears must go Tampa Bay 1-15. In the NFL you can make the playoffs in one year. Would that be my plan no but Bernsie is not connected at all. The Bears obviously do not think they do not have a chance right or wrong.

Domestic violence calls are one of the predominant calls CPD handles. If both parties are present upon arrival, one will be taken away. Even when the caller states "Nevermind"

Not just CPD. Domestic Violence calls are the majority of calls to all police departments in America. Doesn't say much for America or marriage.
