I'm listening to the North podcast from 3-27-15 & he torches Berns. Calls him dumb, a loser & a kid. Lights him up.

Mike north above all others should restrain himself from calling others dumb.
He might be literally the dumbest person to have ever worked at the score.
I mean he was fun and everything. But he's not a very bright man.

I thought this was newsworthy given recent developments. North never got himself in trouble like Berns is now. North represents the original Score, the fan of the people...Berns represents the new Score, the fan of management & the VERY. SMART SPORTS. FAN.
I'll take North over Berns every time.

If you could hang out for the evening & drink beers with any Score 670 host, who would it be?

Doug by a mile. Except I'd want to ask him to tell me stories about all the mob guys he knows, and he'd probably have me killed. I'd need John Drummond drinking with us so he could be the one doing the asking!

love north. glad he finally had a reason to say what he has wanted to say for many years now. i think we now know what everyone outside the team bernstein circle really thinks about him

Right. Nort never said that Antonio Mora should wear a sombrero, so that we know he is Mexican. Mora is Cuban, by the way. Nort never said that the Cubs' game in Japan looked like a game at Wrigley, except for the 50,000 Chinamen in the stands. How could you forget about these?

Nort was the very person who orchestrated the station change. His ego broke up the Monsters and HFC. None of the new shows ever meshed like those two, creating a vacuum, eventually filled by Bernstein. Again, I'm not sure how anybody can claim to be a long time listener, and not remember this.

Oh the irony of these two knuckleheads saying they aren't impressed by bernstein's Duke education when I have my doubts either one of them can spell "Duke".

Seriously, Mike Fucking North is gonna bust on bernstein for this??? Mike Fucking North of all people. Chus mentioned of few of North's great moments, but he left out how he went to town on "ragheads" after 9/11 and he didn't mention Hug-A-Negro Day.

And then he fucked all his friends by getting in bed with Hernandez. If I were Mike North I would shut the fuck up and be happy I'm not in jail and they haven't foreclosed on my residence yet.

I just listened to the first two minutes of this and couldn't take anymore. When North said Bernstein is doing his act from years ago was simply laughable. I do think Dan is condescending, arrogant, and way to smarmy on air, but I would think he is more intelligent than North and is certainly not stealing anything from him when hosting a show.

North's cohost seemed completely clueless about what was happening. That alone tells me these two don't communicate much about what they plan to talk about. He said that the usual excuse given is that one's account was hacked, which North said wasn't the case. Perhaps giving your cohost a little heads-up on what the story is would be a good idea before hanging him out to dry and look foolish.

I also got a kick out of how you can tell from the audio quality that North is doing his show from home and not in the same studio as his cohost. I know many hosts do their shows courtesy of ISDN lines, but you can barely tell that's the case. Not here, however.

It's well known that North didn't like Bernstein, and that's fine. He can now add his name to the list of those who were waiting in the wings for something like this to happen so as to see Bernstein get his due. But, if North is going to consider himself to be the moral compass to determine what is and isn't appropriate to say or tweet, I would have to ask him, "Who are you crappin'?

I know Terry does the show from his home at times, and I even know of a local traffic reporter who does her reports from her home. Honestly, I have to say I couldn't tell the difference in audio quality. But, North's audio was clearly different than that of his cohost's. Trivial detail, I know, but something I caught.

the fact is mike still lives in chicago and now that dan is going to be let go at the end of his contract i think its a perfect time for north to come back to afternoons on the score. terry can stay, his parrot bit works with anyone

Norths morning drive show on FSR is on nearly 350 stations nationwide. He has more listeners than little Danny and it isnt close.
