The only thing he said that really bothered me was when he implied and Terry straight out accused junior hockey coaches of sexually assaulting kids because of one incident. Honestly, I thought that was much worse than his boobs comment. |

Just to clarify: I'm of the opinion that "Wang Whipper" means the "N-word" when Dan says it. Others might disagree. But they would be wrong. |

HE CREATED A STORY ABOUT A GUY KILLING HIMSELF BECAUSE A CO-WORKER ON A PROFESSIONAL SPORTS TEAM SLEPT WITH HIS WIFE EVEN THOUGH AT LEAST 6 KIDS AND 2 WIVES WERE INVOLVED!!! Please save anything about boobs or name calling. JEEZUS ALTHOUGH a guy that once walked past an NFL QB in a hallway will say this is not a big deal. |

Did anybody: local, national, blog......anybody? The suicide thing. Did they report anything close to what Bernstein said about the suicide? Only things I saw cited Bernstein as the source. I find it hard to believe that some of the beat guys...or maybe better yet some of the national/international NHL guys wouldn't have had a jump on this. Ever. Damn. Probably just the local guy who never attends games that hated hockey for years had the scoop. Probably. Kuc, lazerus, lada, etc. they have to be pissed that they still haven't heard anything about all of this. Because they aren't saying anything about what Bernstein hinted at for WEEKS. Or better yet mcKenzie, burnside, melrose, cherry, whoever. I'm sure those guys have no desire to get on that scoop if it's real. I mean, that's not news to them, right? It's not real. Notice that Big B hasn't mentioned it in a month? |

I hardly ever see this referenced so I'm beginning to wonder if I misheard it, but I thought that either the day or the day after Santo died, during transition, either Mac or Spiegel said in a "That's too bad" tone that Santo didn't get into the Hall of Fame before he died, and Bernstein said "Good!" I don't know if someone, or all of them, shot him a look in the studio, but I don't think he ever said it again. I remember he used to say that he had sources in JDRF who said they didn't want Santo as the face of the charity, but I don't recall him ever again saying that he was glad that he died before he got into the HoF. |
