Post subject:  4/8: The Show Divides the Cubs Organization

Ok, so the Cubs are now two different sides in their organ-i-zation...first there's the side that runs the organization of the building, construction et al, the food prep, the bathrooms, etc...then there's the player acquisition side, see. So there's Crane's side, that's the BAD side, see, and then there's Theo/Jed's side, that's the GOOD side, see...

So we explain away the issues with Wrigley, because that's BAD Cubs side, but Theo/Jed side...still good. This will become a common theme, I predict. Crane's going back to being a bad stupid guy in the B&B book.

I used to find Drinky and Boers entertaining but I just listened for 45 minutes and went back to music.

With Danny there is no part of Cubs taint that will stay dry. His super secret sources will explain the real truth behind the opening day problems and, of course, he will have the exclusive. Terrytheparrot will echo along and this Crane Kenney/Bad side of the Cubs meme will get hung on Abbattacola.

Abbatacola preceded that great Cubs thought during transition with the statement that Tiger will break Jack's major record. 0-2 and an hour of the show wasn't even completed.

Business side is smart. Despite what they said, the toilets were the reason yesterday was cancelled. Thus it bought one more game for Bryant and a 40k Cardinal game in the summer instead of a 15k game yesterday.

So if Bryant wins that make up Cardinal game, and they get in the playoffs by one game, it will be because they didn't have enough toilets.

They purposely made sure the bathrooms were out of service for this very reason. REALLY SMART PEOPLE.

Crane got Wrigleyville West for free from Mesa....a toilet snafu rolls right off him.
Granted he's white, suburban and probably Republican "GASP" #cabal but I think making your employer tens of millions superseds expected unknowns.

Yeah, but cheating Arizona municipalities out of money is literally easier than cheating the mentally retarded. Seriously, if you tried to get free admission to Lambs Farm by saying it would create jobs, the cashier would say "I already have a job."

This is generally how businesses are run. HR is separate from sales which is separate from IT, etc, etc. Certainly there is someone on the top that oversees everything (Ricketts), but the business sides probably run pretty autonomously.

I think Theo knows if he wanted to take over everything he could, but do you think Theo really wants to be in charge of getting emergency porta pottys? he will continue to tell you what a great job Crane does.

That was great!! I heard it and went "Matty you really are the biggest dumbass in the city"

Then he came up with his own "secret source" that said if Bryant does well they will call him up, if he doesn't they
will wait a bit".

You can not make up how stupid Matt truly is.

the dumbass said that the record for no scoring in baseball was 35 games to start the season, he said he got a text and the dumbass read it without questioning it.
He is the dumbest fucking human on radio, no question about it.

They were talking about offensive ineptitude, and Matty read a text that said the 1967 Royals went their first 35 games without scoring a run. There were no 1967 Royals.

the fact that he came back so confidently and said "OK WE GOT IT RIGHT HERE. IN 1967 THE ROYALS WENT 35 GAME WITHOUT..." and i jumped out of my chair busting out laughing. straight out belly laugh just staring at the speakers. i sent him that text in jest, and its not even that he read it on air- he read it as if it was a reliable source. it wasnt until terry responded 'uh, i dont think so' was when matty said 'ok we better check that'.

the record ended up being 2 games  and there was no royals in 1967    oh my god he will never get dan bernsteins job

matt, sorry if you thought my phone number was supposed to be on the whitelist :P
