I'm sure we'll be told that the boy learned 3 different languages in 7 days.

Did Dan or his son say that?

Wait, nevermind....if his son said it it would have been in Mandarin.

Robin isn't worse than Ned Yost?

How did Yost's team do last year?

No.

It was a story about how they ordered 4 flat waters and instead got 12 fried eggs.

He did say the food tasted better there though, but that is fairly common when you travel to foreign countries. Whether it is true or you are just happy and enjoying life is up to debate.

Goff dismissive of Rick Mount during transition. One thing I am certain about, Rick Mount was a better shooter than anyone currently plying his trade in the National Basketball Association.

No. Goff thinks God created the world in 1982.

Dan: "I compare the Derrick comebacks to the Tiger comebacks."

Dan: "Derrick's saying weird things. He's saying he feels good. He said he feels joy."

The Rocket was a boyhood idol...great college player played in the ABA and his career was mediocre. Auggie Carr could shoot and so could a player named Jack Marin but I'm the only one here who remembers either :(

Our neighbors got married and honeymooned in the Bahamas. They brought us back a bottle of coconut rum (I hate rum), and told us how great it was. I wondered if it was truly great rum, or they just associated it with having a great time. I looked it up, and it's a $9.00 bottle. Don't get me wrong, it's the thought that counts, but it smells like suntan lotion. I wouldn't drink it if somebody paid me.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on who you ask, I won't be able to make it.

or eating every meal in a fine dining spot? He seems like the guy who planned every meal last year, a real adventurer.

I could not imagine my nephew going to Paris and 'dining' .

You don't listen, but he mentioned that he made reservations months in advance and the whole egg/water fiasco happened because Dan was out fetching a mandatory jacket for his son.

I was a baller on a budget in Europe last summer as far as food goes. Hardly any restaurants, many local grocery stores. Going to them was a lot of fun. There's no question the food tastes fresher and more natural. Fruits, bread, meat, pasta, most things there aren't added with the shit this country puts/sprays in/on food. I just don't go crazy over a fried egg. Maybe a local beer/wine.
