Chris Rongey is in the middle of the war zone interviewing the rioters. Drinky is at the ready, watching TV, ready to jump in. Bernstein is on twitter. Terry will add commentary.

By the way, I swear to God I saw Chris Rongey on CNN yesterday running down the street with a TV.

I'd like to dress up Rongey as a cop and send him out wandering the streets of Baltimore.

What a bitch I am.

I thought they did a pretty good job yesterday, watching the news live and reporting on it and commenting.
The one thing I found peculiar was that Dan couldn't understand why someone would cut a fire hose.
Duh!
They set the building on fire to burn it down and cut the hose to keep the building burning.
What is so hard to figure out?

Did anyone hear the Hamilton conversation? Something to the effect of:

Dan - And isn't he getting divorced?
Terry - I don't know. No, I don't know.
Dan - Yeah, I'm pretty sure I read that.
Terry - Well, yeah, I could see how she would have had enough of him.
Dan - No, he's the one who filed for it.
Terry - Yeah, I knew that. A little thing somewhere. I read that. Yeah.

Doesn't God technically sponsor everything?

I'm a flipper. W&S has been highly entertaining the last couple weeks, but I give B&B a go as well.

Speaking of which, I'm really getting sick of Tune-In's ads every time I turn to a new station. It used to be the initial time you flipped to 670 or ESPN, but now, it's every. fucking. time. You can't fast forward through it.

PM, Josh Hamilton.

That's just embarrassing. I was going to say "How can you do that, on their air, and look at yourself in the mirror?" but I suppose there are $500,000 good reasons as to why.

Still unbelievable, though. There have to be people trying to get into (or stay in) the business pounding their head against a wall over the fact that Boers has a job in a prominent timeslot in a market like Chicago.

The only thing on E! that I ever watched was Talk Soup, which was somewhat entertaining. I liked that guy with the Skunk Stripe in his hair. I couldn't find a good picture of it because he is mostly gray on the sides now. Kinnear was the original host, I think.

Dan: "He's (Thibs) not a great coach because he hasn't won anything."

Only 4 of the 30 active NBA head coaches have won "anything." Rick Carlisle won once, Doc Rivers once (Thibodeau was associate head coach), Erik Spoelstra two times, and Greg Popovich five times. Charles Barkley was not a great player because he didn't win anything.

Yeah they've changed it. Rather annoying. That and the fact they have maybe four commercials that they run constantly. I really don't need to hear that the old guy couldn't get it up 25 times a day.

Isn't this stealing?

Dan is reading from Hub's publication, right? Hub sells this shit, right? Dan is reading it to everybody. So people don't have to buy it. Further more, it's an entire hour of doing it with commercials mixed in. So the Score is making money off stolen material.

Or am I wrong.

Not sure if you are wrong but it is lazy radio.

As for the stream ads it almost always causes my GF to turn off the streaming on me after a while. I will have it on while we do things on the weekend and she screams no more Flow, no more kars for kids and off. Poof.

It never occurred to you that this segment is meant to promote the material?

It did. But if B&B listeners know Dan is gonna read it every year, I doubt Hub gets a boost from B&B listeners.

Personally I don't know why anybody would pay for this stuff now a days when you can find a bunch of quality free stuff on the internet.

Dan selling this wine is brutal. My friend bought some of "Cam's" great wine, he said it sucked.

Dan Bernstein must get his all of his basketball information from Boilermaker Rick these days. Now that I think about it, there is a heavy amount of lockstep in a number of their opinions.
