Dan " I don't want to shove him out the door ". That's why he's been management's mouthpiece this whole time. What a joke. |

Um, I get talking to an opposing team's scout in your buildng is wrong and fireable. However, I'd like to know how did he get in the building? |

Uh isn't the tendency for fired Bulls coaches to not last long at their next jobs a further indictment of Paxson's hiring abilities and a reason not to be confident in his making another coaching decision? And Jesus Dan, the notion that people are saying negative things about GarPax just because they dislike their own bosses in their own mouthbreathing lives is some first-rate pop psychoanalysis bullshit. What can we infer about his own tendency to lick the ass of every single Very Smart Front Office Person in this town? |

I love too how he begins by saying he's just objectively stating the situation and not trying to take sides before proceeding to wax poetic about what a swell boss Paxson is. |

That management's taint stays pleasantly moist, even in the most difficult of circumstances. |

"Five years is a long time not to win anything." How many years has Paxson been the GM or de facto GM without winning anything? |

ZephMarshack wrote: "Five years is a long time not to win anything." How many years has Paxson been the GM or de facto GM without winning anything? Oh man. Pax is the guy that built all these teams... -THE CORE - no gouda -WHATEVER THE HELL CAME AFTER - Not all that Hot. The best run came when Thibs came to town....do you think this team goes anywhere with Vinny at the helm? Absolutely surreal. |

Only these two can take a rather simple situation (as Goff illustrated), twist it into something overly complex, and then question why people don't understand it as they do. I gave them almost an hour before Dan started explaining that the NFL has far more siginificant long term problems than their 2015 champions and a star player having cheated. Recently I had friends in town who listened to them for about 20 minutes and then looked at me as if I like eating shit. For the record, shit tastes worst than you think so no, I don't and I won't. |

It's ironically worse for an 'NBA guy' to enjoy this show, because the more you know about a subject you realize how full of shit they are on it. Which wouldn't be as big of a problem if Bernstein didn't present himself as an 'authority' instead of sports yakker. |

Wow, sad stuff. People are upset that Thibs will be gone because most NBA teams have crappy coaches and they are on a perpetual coaching carousel. How many have the Bulls had since Phil Jackson? We get a good run of stability, and then we try to run the guy out of town? Is there any doubt that Thibs does his homework and knows the X's and O's? The guy is as committed to winning as anyone since MJ. |

I'll take Dan's bet on Thibs not lasting 5 years at his next gig if it's Orlando. Elfrid Payton, Aaron Gordon, Victor Oladipo, Nikola Vucevic, Tobais Harris, Evan Fournier, and Maurice Harkless are all under 24. They've got the 5th best odds at the #1 selection, which means they'll probably be picking in the top 3. Demarcus Cousins is a possibility via trade. The Magic would be a fun team. |

I used to think Bernstein intelligent and Boers possessing widsom, now I think Dan has developed some psychological problems and Terry the early onset of senility. To use their own reasoning, CBS should not renew their future contracts because it will be based upon past (long past) performance and no reflection upon future potential. ESPN/ABC can put on just about anybody against them and they'll be an attractive alternative by default. Either that or as I'm doing now and going to something else entirely. Considering all of the various sources of sports information and coverage it has become clear that these guys fervously stake out the lunatic fringe. The coach has to go because he wins too much, and management thinks they can get the same results with less effort and a better puppet. I'll take winning today over style points tomorrow, because they'll inevitably bail on anyone who buys their current line of bullshit |

It is because he does not have social skills just now. Nothing to do with the players. When someone tries to pin them down like last caller they punt and adjust. |

Dan spends the whole show talking about the inevitable firing of Thibs and didn't know, even though Matty has repeated it every update, that Tristan Thompson is starting in place of Mike Miller. |
