I think it's pretty much official. He's a FULL TIME update guy. He does it every day now. Tell that to Spiegel, drinky!!!!! Tell him to stick it!!!! You're a FULL TIMER!!!! You did it!!!!! No more shinning shoes. He's a bad update person. But he is one none the less. So congratulations to drinky Who's gonna get the producer gig? |

WAIT A MINUTE..... you pantsless cretins are NOT pulling a fast one on me here..... amattacola isn't leaving the cushy lifetime gig of b&b producer to be an UPDATE GUY, oh no, he's undoubtedly going to be the station's top cubs expert/quasi-reporter! seriously, now more than ever with the great cubpacalypse looming chicago is turning to its most beloved media institutions to give us the straight dope on the most complete 1B in chicago, the future of hitting in MLB, and of course the 2B/SS so nice you could probably trade him for a samardzija rental twice... and of course don't forget about Moe and his errant pickoff throws. now while we are fortunate to be living at a time when we have the best broadcaster in the baseball biz (cuz that's what IMU watches every night and it's thusly settled) you can't trust him to give you the kind of unbiased insider perspective that only amattacola can give you! so please don't sass us with the speculation and lies beardown..... you know that matty's clearly moving on to be a fulltime cubs guy and then once he's properly re-established as the best in the biz he's going to have his choices of where he wants to live when mlb.com comes a-callin. in under 4 years it's going to be "Garbage Time with Matt Abbatacola and Katie Nolan" because if you think luke and laura had undeniable chemistry and passion over the span of decades..... well grasshopper, you have much to learn. |

Well, as soon as I declared drinky a full time update guy, he's back to producing today. I don't know if this is coincidental or not. |
