Many times Spiegs says nothing...I can assure you 100% that when Spiegs is not talking its when he wants to call Bernstein out and I am guessing either has been told not to, or he just knows he shouldnt.

Goes along with the same thing for years about the Sox. Nobody ever told the hosts to try and make FArmio and Hawk seem Fun, they just knew for a period of time that those are a business partner of their company and you dont crap on your business partner, until you know they are about to not be your business partner, like now.

Crane Kenny on the opposite end. Bernstein used to blow him up daily until he realized Zimmerman was planning on getting the Cubs broadcast rights.

This speaks to the hypocrisy of sports talk radio. They call for other entities to be transparent though they have a difficult time practicing it themselves. They bite their tongues often for the sake of business yet expect other businesses to be more forthcoming when it comes to private information.

That's true but they seem to forget this principle when it comes to other businesses. They are quick to call for others to disclose information when it is obvious why the information isn't being disclosed. For instance we don't expect them to come on the air and really tell us why Dan Mcneil wasn't resigned by the station. We really don't expect them to tell about the inner workings of the score. It would be nice if they did but we really don't expect them to do that. When it comes to other businesses Bernstein is typically front and center calling for full disclosure. Its hypocritical.

Always has blown since it has become crowbarred into the daily routine with Mac's return in 2009. In the old WSCR days, it was more organic and you got the sense the hosts involved were actually on friendly terms with one another. The worst are the LAW HOME ones at the end of B+B show. Larry just parrots what Dan has been saying all afternoon.

Also, can we stop calling men dudes? Boers, Goff, and Larry all do this way too much. I just hate it.
