Seriously...no show thread yet...how the mighty have fallen. LOL'd at Bernstein saying he thought the trailers for Ant Man looked awful but it ended up being pretty good because "it didn't take itself too seriously." Has the guy ever seen a Marvel movie before? |

yeah ant-man was fine.... it did what it set out to do, and of course after guardians of the galaxy marvel is all about the more (relatively?) obscure IPs getting their movies and now we can wait with bated breath to see what adventures the guy goes on cuz i know they're gonna use him in cap 3/civil-war and likely infinity war and whatnot maybe even b4 we get ant-man 2. idk what ant-man's comic book history gave us, but i'd be willing to bet the villain for ant-man 2 has some sort of shrinking/size-changing power/plot and only a size-changer like ant-man can get in there to stop him! mainly cuz things happened in ultron evidently (still havent seen it but i have the gist of it) and there's some accords or prolly a superhero registration act or something that says "HEY AVENGERS YOU OWE US $$$ WHEN YOU GO ALL SUPERMAN MAN OF STEEL ON OUR CITY, EVEN IF UR TECHNICALLY DEFENDING IT" and hey whaddya know superman's next movie has him in court talking about death and destruction! YES FOR REALISM! its not like i go to comic book movies to escape the everyday "Real life" and get immersed in a fantasy world/universe.... i go to see how these allegorical/metaphorical lonely god types would exist in our real world! can i get a fuckyeah for grimdark realism?!?!! WOOOO!!!!! but yeah TLDR = ant-man was fine and just kind of like "yep there's another marvel movie" and i wonder if b&b is still rape radio? personally i love it when i get flashbacks to the sandusky era (2011? goddamn time flies when you're.... uhhh.... alive?) and i've got a media figure like dan bernstein taking a bold stance against not just CHILD RAPE, but RAPE in general. it's about time someone came out of the closet and said what nobody had the balls to say over and over and over AND OVER again for all of these years: RAPE IS BAD! PEOPLE WHO RAPE PEOPLE ARE BAD PEOPLE! RAPE DOESNT SELL! GET THAT RAPIST OUT OF MY ENTERTAINMENT ZONE!!!!! without dan's brave stand we'd still be living in the 1500s where rape wasn't just an everyday *shrug* occurrence, but moreover a way of life because back then the prevalent mindset was "the more a chick plays 'hard to get' the more she loves you and REALLY wants it" cuz only recently have i been definitively told that no means no, which is a major semantical upgrade for me cuz i spent 30+ years of life going around thinking that no means "of course i want it if you're still rich/famous/handsome enough" and now thanks to dan's efforts i know that "NO!!!!" actually means "no." godspeed dan, you save us that much more with every important show you do! |

I liked Ant-Man better than I thought I would. Sorry whoever really directed it, but I could tell the good parts were left over from Edgar Wright. |

the whole outrage over the kevin white injury reporting is hilarious.... no one caught during transition when they all agred that to the fan it means nothing... yet they talk about how the bears should be more honest about the injury reporting.... huh? |

They try to spin it as though the media is the conduit to the fan, so the team is really insulting the fans. The same folks who complain about the bad calls and the bad texts are now rushing to the aid of the poor, deprived fan because, gosh darn it, they deserve to be treated with respect. |

The media in this city apparently must believe that every other city has transparent football organizations. Do they not realize that every team, for right or wrong, is more tight lipped than the government is on national security? The reporters who cover this team don't have any access and it shows in the quality of their reports. |

An adversarial relationship between team and reporters is a good thing. You think it will reduce access to stories? Take a look at how many leaks you get out of every level of government. |
