I think we're all pretty upset over a 90s Chicago mainstay showing a decline in mental stability and cognizance. But enough about Terry, Dan is troubled by this Erik Kramer news and BRIEF'd us on it. (This will probably be a bad show and I won't listen unless informed otherwise, but I wanted to make that joke. ) |

Next Julie DiCaro will come on and tell us that she tried to commit suicide and will tell us all about it. |

Listening to transition, this is going to be a rough go today. Danny already on the Kramer shit. Porky sounds like he's going to cry, or he realized someone ate the last sandwich in the breakroom. |

It's radio-listening hell. The Bears don't have a receiving corps or a defense, so there's nothing good to talk about there. And now Dan has another CTE story he will preach about for two more days at least. That's on top of the regular Len Casper radio-hell segments on the Cubs and any general talk about the White Sox. When are Kap and Haugh on? They're about the only two I can tolerate now. |

Kind of makes one long for those halcyon days of Child Rape Theater. |

I haven't listened to 670 in about two months and have found I don't miss it. Better to filter it through the board. |

So, his son's abuse of drugs might not indicate that there is some genetic predisposition to depression with the Kramers and it had little to do with football? |

So Terry doesn't like Football now and won't watch after this gig? WTF? |

I have some slow time today, so I am going to try calling in to say that I have been watching football for 30 years, and played college football, and I don't know anyone with CTE. I will be Dan from Noblesville. |

You can have the radio on and hear people talking but nothing registers. Works perfectly. good dolphin wrote: So, his son's abuse of drugs might not indicate that there is some genetic predisposition to depression with the Kramers and it had little to do with football? The guy was a depressive his whole life. In Dan's simple world that will always take a backseat to CTE. |

I want to know more details on where he tried to shoot himself, and how is he still alive. Did he do a DD chest shot? |

Quarterbacks are non-contact in practice, anyways. If it wasn't depression or some mental issue it was probably chronic pain from his neck. I think he was pretty messed up. His wife has a little Kaliflornia Kook in her, but in a good way. https://www.facebook.com/marshawn.linvillekramer |

He never got over Dan McNeil calling him out for lauging on the sideline after a pick (6?). Sure, he rolled with it, gave everyone the look of being over it. Even made friends with Mac as a way to settle it But it ate at him. I get some of it, which is why he probably tried to kill the dragon by doing media. But maybe it was always out there. Unconquerable. The truth is we ALL could do with the benefits of some kind of professional therapy/counseling/medical care from time to time and not avoid it because of, well, bullshit. Not to say there's a pattern but it is an issue I question. |

If I went to therapy I bet I'd be pissed at and hate the therapist. I know my issues. Sometimes I fix them sometimes I don't. |
