The Terrot is in full force today, agreeing with virtually everything Dan spewed during tranny. Rejoice, friends, for Brandmeier has returned. I'll be back around 3. |

Dan clearly said that if Kane is back with the Hawks, it's because McDonough approved it. He intimated that he has more say than Stan Bowman, et al. |

Dan the dumbest fuck on the planet......the games between now and the play in game mean absolutely nothing? If they pass the Bucs and Cards it sure does mean something. Once in the playoffs teams have a 50/50 chance to win the WS wouldn't the same thing be said for the playoffs ? Either you make it or don't. |

John Mac is the fucking team President. More forcefully said by WWN. In other news, the guy that hired Stan Bowman, gets to tell him what to do in a PR crisis. |

Maybe it is news to Dan that the boss of the Hawks would have final say and authority. Because Dan has a boss that has no say and authority over him. |

This just winds back to my effort-post from the weekend about Dan's complicated relationship with the continued existence of John McDonough. No, it's not that the general manager reports to the CEO, it has to be these shadowy machinations full of rumor and innuendo, mental images of men in unlit parking garages exchanging big bags of money. Give me a fucking break. |

Vladimir Ducasse sounds like the name of either a cocktail or a sex move. |

No, it's not that the general manager reports to the CEO, it has to be these shadowy machinations full of rumor and innuendo, mental images of men in unlit parking garages exchanging big bags of money. Give me a fucking break. I love how he constantly says "McDonough is really, really, really upset with him." Well, no kidding. That goes without saying. By the way, as upset as McDonough is, he's really no different than any other Team President. Moral compass my ass. It's sports. John sold his soul to the devil a long time ago just like everybody in sports. If this is settled, McDonough will not order his hockey people to trade Kane if they think keeping him gives them the best chance to win another cup. Maybe like a 5 game suspension, but that's it. And I think the union could fight that because you can't suspend him if he's never been charged. Force him to go to rehab? That won't happen either. You can't force somebody to go to rehab. I think they've tried with him, he said "no" and they still gave him 80 million. |

QOTY.....maybe Quote of the Decade [J. Goff, re: Bernsie, after he hurt his ass riding a Wave Runner for an hour] "Dan's the dumbest smart guy that I think I've ever known" |

If the NHLPA were a pushover, I'd entertain the idea of suspending him, but going to war with Donald Fehr is surely the last thing the Hawks want to do after going through all this. |

There is one guy that has the final say of trading or not trading Kane. That's Toews. They'll ask him before they do anything. They'll do whatever he wants. Ya know what? He might just say "Trade the fucker." |

If the "law enforcement" sources are to be believed about a settlement not being the reason for the grand jury being postponed, then it sounds an awful lot like someone who was supposed to talk got a serious dose of reality. Shit got really real. |

Shit got really real. Yeah and Kane's agent came out of the woodwork today. One option if I were in his position and guilty is the mafia way. Instead of settle with alleged victim scare, intimidate or pay off potential witnesses. |

Kane has a no movement contract. They can't trade him. |
