I'm guessing not.

Due to the holy day we're gonna get drinky breaking down the lawyer's press conference with Terry. Drinky sounds dumb when talking sports. He's really out of his element with any other topics. Especially something serious like this. So look for him to make a fool of himself today.

If Big Fan's favorite update girl is in today I'm sure they'll let her talk too.

It's a shame Bernstein won't be in to comment on today's happenings. But come sun down, Larry can have him on as an expert guest lawyer to analyze what went down today. I'm sure Joe O is trying to book that as we speak.

Cracked me up when Larry told Bernstein that Joe O would be a guest on his show. Bernstein said "Must have been tough booking that one."

Hub took a shot at Frank from Oak Park. You can tell he's tired of his stupid questions. But then again, who isn't?

That warms the cockles of my heart and makes me hate Hub one iota less.

I don't know who thinks its a great idea to have the same dumbass have the first call every week. You know they gave him the hotline number.

How do you know that? You quit listening to the station.

no doubt

I hate Hub, but I hate Frank from Oak Park even more,

Id surmise that Frank is some retired public school teacher, who calls Hub every week at the same time......

I couldn't imagine a life more unfulfilling if I tried.

You can tell that he thinks his old school references are great, but he sounds like an escaped mental patient who convinced Nurse Ratchett to let him use the telephone. Really just a sad and pathetic old man.

then again, he might be cool.

Also like 2 weeks ago, Hub referred to his old, expensive, nepotism filled Pro Football Weekly rag going out of business as him going in another direction or something like that.

No Hub, you ran a magazine into the ground and left your suppliers and those you owed money to holding the bag.
Cant wait to see you do it again with Chicago Football because you are a egotistical jag bag.

I picture Hub Arkush and various CBS Radio executives sitting around ten years ago wondering when this "internet" fad everyone's been talking about is going to go away.

Hub's only 62. I thought he was in his 60s during his prime Bear brown nosing days.

"The McCaskey's Cabana Boy," North once called him.

Starts around 2:24.

http://chicago.cbslocal.com/audio/boers ... tein-show/

45-second question. And that wasn't much of a shot by Hub.

Wasn't one of Frank's better efforts.

I was a fan when he first emerged on the scene, but lately he seems to have become a caricature of himself.

He was worse than ZZ. As I wrote in another thread, he was an attack dog for the Mc Caskeys.

It's also amazing to think of the Score's complete 180 on Hub for those of us who remember that far back.

The entire station was openly hostile to him. He came on the air and they didn't back down one bit. Now Hub is an expert. The "expert" title has been watered down in the past few years.

Matt Abbatacola and Jason Goff were considered "experts" at one time. Think about that.

Hub is a certifiable football PhD compared to Zach and Dickerson, etc.

Who knows what they could've been had they just been themselves and not fallen in love with the drop buttons?

Yeah, those "Dick Jauron Show" days were great...the shows had more vitriol than Doug and OB. There was a lot of anger from frustrated fans that Hub would try to suppress (to protect Jauron...I think Hub was still a Bears announcer/employee at the time), so I think North called in one time and got into it with him.
