A not so subtle attempt at saving face over his clear misogyny? I mean the dude clearly has issues with women, and treating women as objects, and has been busted a couple times over it. So is he just trying to say "Hell no! I support Womyn and their uh... stuff"... OR... Is he just looking to get on top of burning a popular star player because if he managed to get on the right side of one of these for a change he can get the nice calls with the former victims crying during calls to his radio show telling him just how VERY. IMPORTANT. WHAT. HE. IS. DOING. IS. FOR. VICTIMS. like he did with the Penn State thing. I mean, he really got off on that big time. You could tell he was sporting wood during those months of shows about Sandusky. |

Part of it is covering for his own moments but most of it is his longstanding belief that the Blackhawks and their fans have to be put in their place. |

Disliked those Sandusky moments, as I hated being on bernsteins side, as he slants everything, thus the truth doesnt come out when he does that....and in that case, the truth alone was enough, didnt need the bernstein selective media method and reading texts in his dumb guy voice to know what was right or wrong then. he should have been all over the NCAA for allowing them to have football again! |

It's hard to take him seriously as a SJW with his multiple time outs for Twitter boobage commentary. |

Daniel never, ever, ever got over the failure to launch following his brief nationally syndicated fill-in role, and once he realized he'd never reach any level of national prominence as a decent sports talker, he chose the Jerry Springer route - except the best he's done is be Ricki Lake. |

Bernstein's handle has always been the very intelligent guy that just happens to do sports. It was that way in the very beginning and it is even more pronounced now. What has occurred during his matriculation through the sports landscape is that he has become unbearably annoying. I think he'd hoped to carve out the sort of niche that Cosell, Olbermann, and Gumble have carved out. It has become apparent that he will probably never ascend to the status of the aforementioned guys and he has become bitter. |

He wanted to be the hard hitting sports journalist guy and it hasn't panned out. It seems like whenever I've listened which hasn't been often, it's the same beat. It's either the business, legal, or medical side of sports being discussed. The game itself is but a minute part of his show. |

I buy his disappointment at not gaining when he subbed for Dan Patrick and so he went at other angles. What he thinks he is doing now id being a smart Rome. He is not. He is not even Furell. He is nothing but a local Mariotti of the radio. |

The Dan Bernstein we all liked so much was funny and thought sports weren't that important at a time when the rest of the Score took crap too seriously and didn't realize how silly they sounded. |

He can laugh at people who day it all he wants, but when analyzing sports, there is absolutely value to having played them growing up. You learn about things from coaches, but you also just learn techniques from playing and failing... much more than you could ever learn by watching. Dan doesn't have that background, which forces him to stay stupid shit about mesh points and playing in a phone booth. He tends to overcomplicate things not only too look smart but because he doesn't really understand a lot of the basics. |

I agree. Telling fans how to be fans is especially stupid since the word is short for fanatic. To refer to fans that are over the top in, his estimation at least as meatballs is redundant. |

I'm more of a basketball fan and with NBA season fast approaching, I'm wondering how long it will take for the LeBron James conqueror of the universe talk to start. |

Do you think Dan really believes that, or is he just trolling Jordan/Bulls fan with his Lebron hyperbole? If Bernstein is doing sports radio in NY or LA, is he as over the top? |

When he compares him to Jordan and implies he is better, I think he is trolling. When he states that the basketball season is useless unless LeBron James is on your team I don't think he is trolling. He really believes that. |

No, if he were in L.A. he'd be explaining why Dwight Howard is better than Shaq and in NY he would constantly rip the Willis Reed walks on the floor thing |
