Due to change in off periods at work, the only time I hear this show are the 5 to 10 minute drive from one school to practice at another. Has anyone asked him why for the Bulls it was "Only Championships Matter" but for the Cubs it is ok because they are a year early? |

of all people Rod, you would understand the concept of house money. You would also be one of those with proper expectations for the Cubs that they then over exceeded. |

He's never compared the two directly but says all you can do in the baseball post season is get to the playoffs and see what happens. Which I suppose is true because unlike basketball the best team does not always win the World Series. |

CoF, when they're at fattys this Friday you should ask Dan if this was a failed season for the Cubs? If it was not a failure ask why it wasn't. Ask for SPECIFICS. |

But their pitching was such smoke and mirrors...their bullpen such a mess...an over reliance on power hitting from young players. It didn't add up for this season. It could have worked out like the 06 Cards, but even if they draw the Dodger and win, who's their Baumgardner against KC? |
