Ned Yost gets it done and wins a WS and it looks like Kane will not have to go to trial. Put that in your pipe and smoke it you miserable twat.

but Daniel Murphy lost, so Bernstein still wins.

Doesn't appear that anyone here is listening to confirm though.

He had a great weekend.

Sounds even happier than normal.

Even happier than normal? That's not saying much since he's the most insufferable prick on Chicago radio.

BR advised earlier today that Danny has a great life. It doesn't mesh with his hand wringing on the air, but I am inclined to agree with BR.

Dont confuse earning a good living with having a great life. Danny is a paranoid, insecure, insufferable little prick with low self esteem.

I don't doubt that he has a good life, I just don't think Dan is always smart enough to realize it. There's no reason to hate the job he has as much as he does.

He does not seem like a happy, well adjusted person, not a lot of joy there and most of his feelings seem contrived.

Danny seems miserable. He seemingly has no friends, takes no joy out of life, and probably has a wife who is sleeping with her psychiatrist.

To me Bernsie is the type of person that can easily compartmentalize and justify whatever it is he is doing. Understanding that I am sure he is very happy with his life regardless of what people outside of it think.

The report from this weekend was that everyone was coming up to Bernstein and hugging him.

All the while he works 5 hours a day, and all the label free wine he can drink.

If its a "switch" he flips to be an asshole, how does he know when its on or off? What happens when sips a little CH juice? If he's talking in his sleep then he can't honestly know when the switch is off.

this article should cheer him up.... it's called "The Mets’ Anti-Gay Daniel Murphy Lost His Team the World Series. Good."

http://www.slate.com/blogs/outward/2015 ... eries.html

and the footnote is great too...

*Correction, Nov. 2: This post originally misstated that Bill Buckner was playing for the Mets when he committed his infamous error. He was playing against them.

I must have underestimated just how well some of you guys live.

20 hour weeks, talking sports, making huge money, living in the second best city in the world, a limitless supply of unlabeled wine, being the face of a charitable organization, and being chummy with some of the other Chicago elite sounds like a pretty good life to me.

The wine I drink is labeled and I let my wife handle all our charitable contributions.

Yeah. You are on the list of those who wouldn't switch with him.

I don't drink wine, I take leading positions in charities and I met Billy Dec, but I would still switch professional positions with him in a heartbeat. 500K to bullshit and troll for 5 hours a day while waking up late and getting home at a reasonable hour sounds heavenly. If I were him, I would be whoring myself out on weekends and nights at appearances for an extra 50-100K in my pocket.
