- Kane got away with rape.

- Hub & Zack almost died because of Pace and Fox.

- There is a cover up in the Fox Lake PD.

B&B will put a bow on this stunning week as only they can.

Dan with a huge WYC. A caller called in intimating that MLB would mimic the Royals. Dan said no way.

Dan just asked the exact question to his guest. That's pretty bad.

Are police oppressing these neighborhoods or are they never around when you need one?

All you need to do is listen to the scanner on a weekend night and listen to the shit show that is a district on the South or West side. There are a million jobs I would rather do than chase my tail being a Chicago cop.

Excuses need to stop. Activists in these areas only perpetuate the victim complex.

Like I've said before I am a Chicago Police Officer. I was actually quite please with how Bernstein and Boers just handled that, especially the SJW.

The amount of man hours and money spent on our overtime is staggering. At what cost? The pay checks are great. But you miss a lot with your family: baseball games, graduations, holidays, the list goes on. Some of the overtime is optional, but if your in a unit or on some type of team, most of it is mandatory. Not only is it what you miss with your family, but it definitely takes some years off your life.

I can't tell you the countless times someone ran from us or we responded to some type of call. We go up to a child and ask them what they saw? (kids aren't going to lie) Then you'll get kids in the background shouting, "don't talk to the police!" This is a learned behavior that more than likely came from their parents. The lack of help we get starts at even a young age.

We as not only a police department but as human begins are honestly lost at how we go about stopping this violence. You have regular patrol officers, operation impact (rookies), tact teams, gang teams, saturation teams, narcotic teams, hundreds of people working overtime and you still have the violence. I can't stand the people that say, "we don't have enough police!" When where I live I don't get even a quarter of that police presence! All you have to do is pull up GPS any given day and you'll see where the police are.

I can go on forever but whats the point.

Pretty good summary about why this station (and show in particular) need to get back to talking sports, not Dan's social/liberal agenda. One could argue the sports talk was pretty bad, but going MSNBC as a show/station can't be what the listeners want more of (and probably a lot less of).

I swear that Dan went off on this so passionately to regain all the people he chased away with Kane. I hate to think that, but he's trying to regain some credibility with certain listeners.

Agreed! "it's so much easier to be a cop nowadays" the way they are talking today..... with Terry parroting in the background the EXACT opposite during the Ferguson and Michael Brown incidents. I swear these two don't have a fucking conscience between them!

Hey mcdude thanks for your service and all (cuz no matter what anyone does to specifically run afoul of you guys there's so much more crazy shit we can't even think of that you deal with it) but I gots say that stopping the violence basically requires there to be a way for ppl en masse to make enough $$$ to avoid drugs/thuggery.

As a cop you know how much $$$ is there in drugs and while "self-starting" isn't an excuse, you can at least see the reason why lots of ppl choose that life.

I still think to ultimately end the violence its not about snitching or even guns... Its about having a society where way less ppl do things to get shot, cuz by and large you still REALLY gotta piss someone off to get shot (as opposed to collateral damage)

Ah well, c'est la vie. Keep on keeping on

Thanks.

I always tell guys, "I understand your hustle, this is my hustle. It isn't personal, it's just about money." Granted, hard drugs kill people and I do believe they are evil. Then again, the prescription drug abuse from "legal" drugs is just as bad if not worse. Nonetheless, I get a decent dope pinch I get a couple of court dates and get to make a couple of bucks. I hate being so nonchalant and so self serving about it, but I mean, it's not my fault the courts don't take it serious. If they did, no one would deal drugs because the punishment wouldn't be worth it.

Unfortunately, for most on the south side, the drug game isn't that great. When we sit and do surveillance on dope spots and see one deal in an hour, is that $10 bag of dope really worth it? Sure most decent dope boys sell around 50 bags a day. But you literally have to be selling 24/7 to sell out. And who knows how many people you split that money with. In the end these guys are better off at a job at McDonald's.

But it's not even about dope. It's about fucking other peoples girls, facebook, instagram, twitter bashing. Putting a dis on Youtube. Literally hating someone because you're from 69 and Ashland but you don't like 68 and Honore. Because, why exactly? The streets don't even belong to you. I can equate it to sports in some way, like I never understood hating someone just because they like another team. Especially this year with the Cubs and Sox. Cubs put together a fun young team. What's to hate about that?

It's only going to get worse in this city. the BLM movement is going to destroy law enforcement. Starting next year police will fill out a long form on why they stopped someone and have to give that person a receipt. You think police are going to risk their lively hood because dude won't get off the corner? There'll be no point in challenging these guys anymore because our government literally decided that they have the upper hand. Not to mention the amount of man hours wasted in filling out these forums.

Good luck Chicago.

And the "Rape Culture", Kane bullshit was a way to get past his "Boob" controversy in which he was humiliated nationwide on Twitter.

Toward the end of the show yesterday Danny says, "I don't know why people are so outraged over these Hardy photos. What did they think it looked liked. I blame Twitter for some of this. People want to be outraged about something and then this mob mentality develops."

Huh, wouldn't know anything about that, would you Dan?

I think Dan has a certain amount of respect for "professional" people and the "authorities" Plus, isn't one of Terry's sons a cop?

The person I fear the most who simply does not get is Goff. He supposedly has an "uncle" who is the police but any time Goff gets a chance he takes a shot at the police specifically white police. Either he is severally misled by his "uncle" or he is just a straight up racist.

This U. S. Constitution stuff about innocent until proven guilty should only apply to Chicago cops like John Ardelean and Jon Burge.

Until BLM came on the scene, there was no crime in Chicago.

I recall Bernstein jumping on the racial arguments from Ferguson (shockingly, before the facts were fully known) and then spinning to that to entire country. Boers, at the time, did put up a fight to my memory about some of Bernstein's comments.

As for Golf, he continued to make comments about the Ferguson story well after the facts of that specific case came to light. He's got all sorts of issues with race.

Yeah. Goff has major race issues. Among his other issues. His race issues might trump his laughing issues. He just ain't right.

"White people this, black people this, Mexican people this" all the time with Goff.

I agree with McDude. He's a racist. But he wasn't always that way. Ironically, Dan Bernstein made him a racist. Bernstein taught him to hate white people.
