Let's remember those who served.

Predict what Dan says about getting the Cubs:

"I...I have to be careful how I say this, because there are a lot of conflicting feelings for me here. I'm sad that we lost the Sox the way we did, but I am BEYOND happy with getting the Cubs. And here's the thing, and again, I have to say this carefully: it's not that the White Sox failed us, it's that we failed the White Sox and Jerry Reinsdorf, and what people need to understand is that there's more to a radio station than the idiots like me that you hear on the air. And there were people at this radio station in other departments who failed the White Sox, and those people do not work here anymore. And I wish Jerry way more than luck at another station, because they're attaching themselves to a toxic atavism that won't be sustainable, but all I can say for the Score is: this is gonna be fun."

I'm going to hope they finally turn on DJ, a terrible baseball announcer.

Bernstein is going to be unbearable now. :(

We've lost the best show in Chicago radio.

no, no, the undoing of the Theo era will also undo the Dan Bernstein era. The next couple years will be fun...Dan's going to age 20 years.

Not even close to terrible. Probably the second best guy in Chicago behind Hughes.

well, it's all subjective. But I can't stand DJ. Love Farmio.

I am taking Farmio in my 2016 dead pool. I am just praying he makes it to 2016.

DJ is amusing, but definitely not good.

Bernstain thinks he can mask his feelings about everything to keep it a surprise for his ALS.

It amuses me just how free & easy he comes across on national broadcasts. Chris Singleton is/was that way as well.

Right. He supposedly masked his feelings about the Cubs the last year. I hat to hear him really excited and unrestrained.

Oh no he hasn't. He is still showing up at the block party in his Calderon jersey while sipping wine and extolling the virtues of Blue Apron.

Hopefully this is a one day thing because this is going to make the Penn State radiothon seem like enthralling radio.

"Peak Bernstein" is a term that evokes very disturbing images in my head. No pun intended.
