there's an awful lot of blame that will be placed on management at the end of Theo's regime.

Getting Zobrist is all on the general manager. Castro, you can blame it on a salary dump. But four years and a no-trade, this one's squarely on Theo. Perhaps Dan has recognized that in advance.

They got rid of Castro because he was a total flake...and they got what looks like a decent pitcher back for him. Castro is incredibly talented and could easily come back into hitting form with the Yankees and get back into the 200 hit range. He still has shown that his baseball IQ isn't very high and he hasn't really improved his focus since he came into the game...That's just the guy he is...almost great, with some very fatal flaws.

Zobrist is a solid place holder at second and gives the team versatility at a number of different positions and he's a much more solid clubhouse guy...although I didn't know he was so preachy...married to a Christian singer...yada yada yada. Why anyone gives one rat's ass about his contract is beyond me. Last I checked, there wasn't a Cap in baseball and the Cubs are soon to be rich as King Solomon. Also, who really gives a shit that his deal has a NTC? If it happens that he sucks...they wouldn't be able to trade his contract away anyhow...They'll just have to pay him to go away.

Gave the first hour a try and there was this...interesting...exchange, where Dan and Terry had different guys! sorta!
