On today's show, Dan will discuss yesterday's Bears game. Terry will agree, even though he didn't watch the game. Abbattacola will read ads for 1-800-GIVE-BJS. Concussions will be discussed early and often. Theo will be praised. Tune into this show. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW. |

I wonder how anyone can follow Dan's factually incorrect statement made after the George McCaskey (podcast hour 2 @ 12:15) interview that youth participation in sports is not down. Terry became confused as Dan talked over him. Later on the show continued with Dan hammering away at his convoluted stances that the game can't be both entertaining and safe, quoting the doctor that children shouldn't be allowed to choose to play football and parents shouldn't be allowed to make the choice for them, and that McCaskey is simply repeating the NFL company line (isn't McCaskey a part of the NFL?). I'm sure there will be "sycophants" with their timely emails, texts, and tweets to support Dan. Dan may also question the accuaracy of the title of the upcoming Will Smith movie. I didn't see the game, so like Terry I don't think I have a reason to listen either. |

What did Goff have to say? Or was it just: "you got Jimmy over there, really, um ...let's say feeling himself... You got what you asked for, Bulls fans! The cute Jimmy Butler is gone." |

Sorry for the late reply ... in a nutshell, to my ears anyway he basically was passively-aggressively giving Bernstein the business by saying the front office problems with Thibs, even assuming they're true, didn't mean shit to a tree when compared to the respect he commanded from his players. I think it was better put together than that, but I believe that was the gist. |

He also pointed out that basically this same roster was being talked about along with Cleveland (and, before that, Miami) as to their potential to win championships ... something that obviously isn't appropriate with this team this year. |

It's amazing how different a show sometimes comes off when it's not being described by some mult with an axe to grind. Jason, when paired with Joe, not only does a good show but puts up the only challenge to Dan on the station. Otherwise, there's a day here and there like this when he's with Spiegs. |

I've been working from home today and now have the rest of the afternoon to do Christmas shopping and run errands. Lots of car time. None of it will be on concussions or bad Bulls thoughts, I'll be listening to something national on XM - either MLB Radio or Bomani Jones or holiday music. |

The outrage over OBJ is ridiculous. If you must, suspend him a game, nothing more. |
