The son of a bitch wins again.

Think about it. The long feud between Hawk and B&B. And who replaces Hawk? Benrstein's former intern. I remember Bernstein actually suggesting him for the job a few months ago.

Once Hawk hears about this he is going to hate this new guy.

I really don't know how much more Hawk Sox fans can take.

Hawk is angry senile, not cheerful senile like Haray Caray was.

Thank God.

Time for a moratorium on Beardown/Bernstein threads.

Man, Goff is really a Derrick Rose apologist. My God, he's screaming right now defending a guy that sucks. It's weird. Him being an NBA expert and all.

I thought he was saying how stupid the jump pass of Rose was?

Dan the true Sox fan hopes the new announcer brings a voice so a younger generation or two can consume the Sox.

God, did the Score just run three straight spots for eliminating debt?

They are just trying to reach Scorehead and others like him in their target audience.

Quite naturally. Dan understands that the second most important position is the tv guy. After a really smart president of course.

The kid is a lawyer too and writes crossword puzzles.

Dan's wife ought to be worried.

They're interviewing him now. I like him. Seems bright and he has a sense of humor.

But I found something striking. He was once a Score intern. Why have they not been able to get a bright, funny intern since him? Now they just get angry, pissy, dopes that turn into producers that turn into part time on air talent.

He's more talented than Dan....

1) Law Degree
2) Funny
3) can beat Dan at basketball even with his cerebal palsey
4) isn't a dick

He also said he called Brooks Boyer about the position. Then they met. Then Jerry Reinsdorf met with him for his 2nd visit. That's the way you do it. Make a call.

I think Ranger loses out on a chance to both get his old gig back and maybe for the TV gig cuz he probably didn't call and apply. He thought they would call him if they wanted him back.

Then again, Ranger can't get a MLB play by play job for the simple fact that he's never done it. This guy did minor leagues for years. That's the route you have to take for the most part.

Anyway, I think this guy is gonna be real good. So happy we finally have a broadcaster instead of an ex player.

Stone also takes off some road trips. I assume the new guy will fill in for Stone on those occasions. Then Hawk wouldn't have to do the play by play.

That's what I'm saying. Two Tribesmen.
