This issue has come up in a few threads. I figure let's put it in the B&B section for a full discussion. As Bernstein leads this charge and his soldiers follow his lead in the race talk at the SCORE. Amazing that the white, rich Jewish guy shapes the discussion for the black guys at the Score but that is, indeed, the case. Cops, "Cam Newton vs. Peyton Manning", Using the term "Thug", using the term "Wang Whipper". Just to throw out a few issues. I'm not gonna start the discussion. Though I kind of did. But I'll give more thoughts later. I've had a few beers so I'd rather chim in when I'm sober. Plus "Girl Chained to the furnace" needs to be fed. So you take this where you want, I'll jump in later with some thoughts. READY? GO!!!! |

Anyone who is criticizing Cam Newton at this point is doing so because... he's black, and they can't just come out and say they hate him because he is black. While he has said the show as a whole is just for entertainment and most of this stuff is just for show, this isn't the first time I felt he has gone overboard with a blanket statement. I called him out on calling all hockey fans racist and I think he cowered like a disciplined dog. |

For the record, and I'm sure all of you assumed otherwise, "Girl Chained to my furncace" is black. So that proves I'm not racist. Which I've been unfairly accused by many of you. So I win. Here's the thing, they base this shit on twitter talk. One guy, maybe two guys, maybe even 100 saying they say they hate Cam Newton for whatever reason. But I'll bet they find that same total hating on Manning and Brady for whatever reason. It's twitter. People hate on people on twitter!!!! Bernstein and his soldier, Goff, use this for race talk. But it's just bullshit. |

I hate Cam Newton. I think he is a douche. I hated him at Auburn. I also hate Tom Brady. I think he is a douche. Do I HAVE TO LIKE a guy BECAUSE HE IS BLACK!?!? DB is also a douche...I am starting to see a pattern here. |

So when B&B get a caller like West Side Mike, and let him go through his whole schtick and completely yuk it up, is that Dan pandering to black people "hijinks" ie the angry black man? or is it Dan trying to show he likes black people? Because if a white caller tried something like that, they'd tear him apart. "we head to New Hampshire. White Caller, you're on the line. Hello." |

I view Cam as a guy who plays football for the same reason Brandon Marshall (the former Bear) played football: as a platform for his many platforms. Many hated Marshall because of it to the point where they politicked to get him off the team. I was not one of those. It's strange to me that those same people don't recognize the personality trait in Cam, although it had been documented for years and accepted as truth when he wasn't playing well. |

I did enjoy hearing Dan's top 10 NBA American-born white players yesterday and Terry trying to guess who they were while they yucked it up at how much they suck. I wonder if they'll do that for American-born black players during baseball season? |
