With last night’s terrible performance by Cam Luther King Jr, the boys will take all comers (figuratively) who want to call in to call out the QB.

Don’t like his on-field antics? You’re racist.

Don’t like how he acted in his press conference? Again, racist.

Have a problem with Beyonce’s performance? You guessed it, racist.

Don’t like Coldplay’s performance? Not racist.

Tune in and hear the boys twist themselves in knots. It should be magical radio.

It should be a great show today. It's not a shock that most of this board is looking forward to Dan's takes on the biggest sporting event of the year. A recap of their trip to San Francisco should be fun too.

Dan's got some 'splaining to do. But Terry correctly gave Denver a chance because of their defense.

It amazes me how so many are bending over backward to claim that the "been there, seen that" halftime show was passable. (It would have been for me if "Bey" had fallen though)

The problem is that Coldplay's best songs (Fix You, The Scientist, Talk, Trouble) are totally unsuitable for a halftime show. Even "Clocks" and "Viva la Vida" are cutting it close. They're not really a bad band, they're just fun to shit all over for trying to be Radiohead Lite when all they really were was U2 Lite and because Chris Martin seems like such a drip.

You're just being difficult. Admit that they're an acceptable continuation of circa-Joshua Tree U2.

The halftime show was fine. It could have been much worse. It's not made for crusty old folks anyway and it never was, except for when the NFL wanted you to forget about a black lady's boob. Notice that the Janet halftime show was not in their montage, and it's probably the most famous one ever. Goodell fails again.

This post makes it seem like Radiohead is better than U2. They are not.

I don't really care for U2 either. I'm not saying that in a "I'm smarter" sense, I just don't particularly care for their catalog is all.

Not many for the aged? Keep in mind that The Who, McCartney & Prince have all been recent headliners. None of them have produced anything of note in well over two decades & are still targeted at aged Baby Boomers & whatever it is they call my aging generation (Gen X?). Fwiw, I liked Bruno Mars' performance of two years ago...but I didn't need to see it again last night.

But we can agree, on the night the NFL got an D-/F.

Yep, I saw that this morning. This should cover hour 1 of the show very well.

I said the only time it was for the crusty old demogrpahic was when the NFL wanted you to forget that they showed a black lady's boob. The Who, McCarntney, Bruce, Prince era of halftime shows was that timeframe.

For a guy that was a well known druggie (& dirty but only slightly above average player), how in the world did that relic become relevant enough again to have public attention? Oh wait...never mind

I tried to change the Super Bowl 50 wikipedia page to "The American White Man's Last Stand" but that thing is protected like Fort Knox.

Well, that's up for debate, but it was more about experimentalism: for a while there after Rush of Blood... and especially around X&Y, Coldplay was definitely being positioned and/or positioning themselves as The More Approachable Radiohead, with Chris Martin professing his adoration for them up until Thom Yorke said they were shit, at which point Chris Martin made a frowny-face and tried to rewrite "Beautiful Day" about a dozen times.

Neither the 22-year old son nor his 20-year old GF cared for it. That made it unanimous in our group.

I guess lip syncing is no longer allowed at sb half time shows, vocals sounded terrible. My 18 month old son has mastered Chris martins two stage moves - jumping and spinning
