Uh-oh. Dan and Terry have suddenly discovered the Cubs don't have much depth of pitching. Whoops. Now let the walk back begin. Suddenly the Cubs need bullpen, suddenly visions of being beat by Mets pitching are taking center stage. The next few months are going to be hilarious. Wait till JimmyPasta starts calling in every day. |

Terry! My kindred spirit! He doesn't trust Lackey or Lester. My man. |

Just sounds to me like Terry is cautious or trolling for discussion. Especially his comments that Arietta does not automatically become a baseball immortal for all the rest of his career. |

I can assure you all that their pitching is fine. Just enjoy the Championship season and relax. |

A couple weeks ago, Bernstein was preaching about how even though the Cubs are talented, nothing is guaranteed in baseball, and there is no such thing as a guaranteed World Series. Uhh... I'm pretty sure most people are already aware, Dan. You were the one (in addition to Rozner and others) talking as though they were an indestructible force destined for a championship. I'm aware he never guaranteed a World Series, but when you are SO over the top in your love, it basically becomes implied after awhile. And then to get on your high horse and preach to everyone elseabout how baseball can be random? WYC? |

The face of Cubbie Nation is already starting with the excuses? If Elmhurst Steve stops guaranteeing a title then we should all be concerned. |

As Leash said, Bernsie always held his stupid caveat. It's just his little annoying thing of shouting on the mountain all the great cub stuff. Then he whispers under his desk randomness and no guarantee. |

Who needs pitching when your lineup is full of Babe Ruths? |

can't really be critical of Terry when I agree with him and he disagrees with Dan. It's a good day. |

A better analysis is they have 3 really good teams in the divsion. You got 100, 98 and 97 last year! Might even be willing to wager most W's of to 3 teams in a divsion in 20 years, maybe more. Someone call Scott from Idaho! |

Here's a half hour of old man drunk rambling. And I'm not talking about Terry. |

If there's such a thing as a safe bet, surely the Cubs finding and stepping on the rake is a safe bet. |

It was funny to hear li'l danny blast off on a caller today for calling Patrick Kane "Kaner" (Patrick. Kane. Is. Not. Your. Friend.), only to follow it up by talking about "Theo" in the next segment. |
