This was Jamie Dukes saying Lovie was fired because he was black, Simple.

or as he said it.

"....and you dont want to go down that street and you know what I am talking about " when asked why Lovie was fired.

It was foolish and if he has a job anywhere he should be fired. Considering I know what he is talking about, as he said. He left his comments open to my interpretation and not his.

Lovie was fired for not getting a team into the playoffs. Thats it. He was a fine Head coach who lacked Offensive thought and direction in a league that is based on offense. He was given more chances to get it right than 90% of all NFL coaches ever have.

So, to even insinuate that angle by Dukes is a terrible accusation and should come with some reprimand.

Lovie went 10-6 last year. How does a coach get fired after a record like that? Let's see. He STILL made mistakes in-game related to time outs and offensive playcalling, he picked several bad offensive coordinators and he didn't make the playoffs the last few years. If they make the playoffs last year, maybe he is still here, but he didn't. NOTHING to do with black or white.
