had them on in the car for (literally) 2 minutes when i started it this morning....they are talking about the Cubs bidding for Tanaka and implying that the bid wasn't genuine and that they really didn't have the money

so Mully starts in on this 'joke' about 'where is the money???', having this 100 mil or whatever in a safe, in the kitchen cupboard, etc.

Hanley was trying to talk and have a somewhat serious discussion and Mully kept cutting him off, like 5 different times, in order to continue this joke that wasn't funny and didn't even make any sense , i wanted to reach through the radio and choke him

One of the worst shows in recent memory. It wasn't the much better than Meat and Holmes, it actually may have been worse.

It is BIGFANS favorite show, though. He loves it!

I normally like this show, but this morning they hypothesized what the GMs on each side of town would do if the Angels came calling and wanted to trade them Mike Trout for their first basemen.

That's the essence of the show, right there. It's like Mulligan doesn't have the faintest idea of how to host a radio show.

That's why Hanley's 'act' would play well with a better partner. In fact the older Hanley gets the better he will be. He'll be like your Uncle cracking those jokes that only he thinks are funny (and deep down even he knows they arent). There is a certain charm to that and it will help Hanley going forward.

Mully is a pile of shit and should be shit on to make an even bigger pile of shit and then dump it all into a barrel of shit and throw it in a river.

yeah i agree....i think you make a good point there, I feel like Hanley is pretty self-aware...like he knows the jokes are corny but just doesn't care. Mully on the other hand, thinks he's hilarious
