This dissapoints me...Stocks and Jocks on a Friday morning is routine....

I took some heat a while back when I suggested that "The SCORE" start "Mully & Hanley in the Morning" at the same time "Mike & Mike" start their show at 5a, and drop "Stocks & Jocks". I didn't realize how popular Dr. Jon Najarian's show really was among those who start their workday that early in the morning. The only thing I could figure is that the guys doing "Stocks & Jocks" are on vacation this week. Then again, Steve Dahl, dead air & all, recently moved his "JACK FM" morning show to 5a weekdays. I think it had to do with declining ratings or what many station bosses now technically refer to morning drive...

Jon and Tom were each on this morning...

There were some boxes Lin Brehmer needed help getting out of his van with no windows on it.

Dahl's show now ends at 9 instead of 10. That move was totally due to horrendous ratings. He fell to 31st in the market based on the new ratings system. Mully and Hanley are doing 5 to 10...an additional hour as opposed to Dahl who is doing one hour less. I'd say M&H are doing very nicely in the ratings and this is an attempt to pick up more from ESPN in the 5:00 hour.

they better be careful or they're going to burn those guys out...

What's going to be interesting is when Hanley is on the circus trip with the Bulls and if he gets up at 2 AM local time to be on the show. That's going to the tricky part of the year for M&H.

Hawkeye, I think the Sun-Times might send John Jackson out to the "Left Coast" to cover the Bulls' annual "Circus Road Trip from Hell!" come November. John is back on the Bulls' beat for the "Bright One", along with Brian. If "Mully & Hanley" were hoping to get the Trib's David Haugh to fill in for B.H. like he has in the past, forget it. Haugh's a contributor & co-host during this football season now with ESPN Radio 1000.
