Sorry, I don't have anything against either Mulli or Hanley, but it is a very boring morning now with the North gang gone. I just can't get thru the fake laughter like Bob & Tom in the morning. Maybe some people did't like MN, but he was there from the beginning and helped make that station wat is was... yes was. It seems as if the station is on the "cheap" now. Anyway, AM1000 is right down the channel.

Dynomite debut. The North cocksucking line forms over in the appropriately named Media Graveyard folder.

Bhuge, I'm sorry you don't care for "Mully & Hanley in the Morning". The two Sun-Times sportswriters, Mike Mulligan & Brian Hanley, are actually very good at what they do, and that's GENUINE CHICAGO SPORTS TALK every weekday morning. If you want shtick, complete with sound effects & "shock jock" material, listen to other morning shows down the dial or listen to the station's Web site on the Internet. When "M & H" took over morning drive, they made it clear that they weren't trying to reinvent the wheel, based on an article I think Ted Cox wrote in the Daily Herald. As for WSCR 670 being "on the cheap" now, I think you might be right. With the exception of Dan Hampton signing on Tuesday with Laurence Holmes, management has been very reluctant to spend CBS Radio's money on replacing hosts that don't cut it & seem to promote its hosts from within. By the way, watch this story carefully. I predict that 'SCR will soon break up "Boers & Bernstein" when Terry's deal expires soon, and Dan will have a new partner. You read it here first.

Yes, M & H are much better than Northy, but someone please tell
Mulli to stop yelling at me, when he's trying to be funny/make a point.

I am not saying M&H are bad, it just seems to be a very bland station now.

Its why I never wanted North gone, but teamed up with someone that did their homework, that did have information.

If North wouldn't do it, the I agree with letitng him go.

That said, M&H need to bring something in.

They may be boring but at least the things they say are backed by a hint of intelligence.

I'm not quite sure what people were expecting.

I loved the show from 10-12 and I love it now.

I can see both sides of this. Mully & Hanley do their homework, which leads to very intelligent discussion. However, the discussion isn't particularly entertaining. Mully’s unnecessary shouting is terribly annoying, and Hanely has the personality of a cadaver.

The show is the complete polar opposite of North's old show. While North came off as a meatball 95% of the time, his show was far more entertaining. I reluctantly switched to Mike & Mike, and I haven't looked back.

Yeah, I predominantly listen to Mike 'n' Mike, but during their commercial breaks that seem to take up my entire morning commute (yes, I know that they have to pay the bills), I'll turn on Mully 'n' Hanley and I think they do a decent job. At least they're providing sports talk - not just talking about themselves the ENTIRE time like the former show...

I liked them from 10-12 too, but I just don't think they can keep my attention for a four hour show. They just don't have the personalities.

Why do you continue to draw attention to yourself by misusing "here" and "hear"? I'm curious.
