Post subject:  Is Anyone Listening?

I rarely listen to this show, but I was in the car this morning and they did a decent interview with Dave Leato. Then, Mully and Hanley started talking about how DePaul is playing Bradley tonight in the NIT. Mully repeated it several times and Hanley started waxing poetic about Bradley. Only problem is, DePaul is playing Hofstra tonight, not Bradley. And the game is being broadcast on the Score. They are talking about a local team and a game being broadcast on their own station...and they get it wrong? Throughout this ten minute period of repeating this error, no producer or Score manager apparently knew enough, or cared enough, to correct these guys. They went on and on. I figure if the hosts, producers and managers at the Score don't care about the quality and accuracy of their own product, why should I? Click.

I listen almost everyday to these two. Good show. And obviously others are listening becacuse they pummeled S&R in the ratings book. And the reason no one probably called them out is because no one pays attention to the NIT, and any other teams from Illinois that is NOT Illinois.

Coast, I heard the same thing and thought "WTF are they talking about?" Bradley is playing Providence.

That being said, I've loved this show since day 1 and think it's the best on the station.

Hmmm, should I listen to the ego maniac and over the hill trib blogger or Mike "I dont need this radio gig" Mulligan and Brian "I wanna be ust like Boers" Hanly.

Sleuth, I agree with you that Mully and Hanly's show is the best in the time slot, but unless its football related, Mully is a unprepared as anyone I have heard on the radio.

So your opinion is the only one that matters? When Matt gets air time, its fresh. Who is your pick? North? Boers? Murph? Three guys who havent had a new idea in years.

I think you missed my point. I found your criticism of Hanley ironic, especially since drinky copies so much of his act from Boers.

This observation also means that drinky's act is something other than "fresh". I think even he would admit that he lifts a lot of his approach to radio from B&B. In fact, I can't detect anything original about his shows. Still, he does well working within a limited framework.

I did miss the point and my opinion is just that, a opinion. But if some people knew the total lack of effort the likes of North, Boers and Mulligan put into a show, they would see my point about Matt. I wasnt impressed with Matt when he was with Murph, because he was just plain lazy and didnt care, but working with B/B woke him up in a sense.
