BB swearing they didnt make the coffee mess, Lester is swearing on a stack of stolen baseball almanacs that he not only didnt do it, but cleaned up the coffee area before he leaves in the morning....this must be the fact because as he says he once bused tables at Estells in Lincolnwood!

Thus leaving Mac and Spiegs or MH???????

This should fill a day of radio

I'd rather listen to talk about the contract extension Jerry Sandusky is working out with Satan.

Great thread.

Lots of blame flying about and who knows who the real assailant is....time will tell. I'm thinking it was Goff fucking the coffee room up as a last parting shot at Mully.

Also, now with Goff gone I hope Mike Mulligan finally reveals the truth behind his hatred of Goff.

A host is gone so it's time to break bad, it's a Score tradition!

Why didn't they just blame it on an intern?

Problem solved

I think they need to plant a hidden webcam, so all the online viewers can be sure who did it.

They had a Webcam at the SCORE's old studios at NBC Tower. It didn't follow them to 2 Prudential Plaza.

I have no idea whats happening in this thread.

As I understand it, someone made a mess in the coffee room. Unless that someone literally shit all over the room, how could this have been a big enough deal to get on-air time spanning multiple shows dedicated to it?

FF, it was a big event. People bitching, update guys giving inside info, accusations tossed around...Les was yelling and inconsolable.

I think it was a parting shot by Goff, if it wasn't it was definitely Mully.

Fuck that guy

Abbatacola started it during the update on Mac's show yesterday. Then, it was discussed later on B&B and blamed on the Grobber.

Because people in radio have egos that are very fragile. Someone's feelings got hurt by a mess.

Drama , Drama , Drama

I don't even want to LOOK at the DAMNED machine that spews out awful tasting crap anyway!!!

I think there may be a second barista. This can't merely be the work of Les Harvey Grobstein.

It was probably the person that anyone would least expect. So who would that be then?

Someone should probably "Ask Herb" about what he thinks of the matter.

Start taking detailed notes. There's a good chance you stumbled upon a greater character than Kramer from Seinfeld.

They have a kitchen cop who shuts it down until someone cleans it up. It's a good dose of radio melodrama and an excuse for B&B to pick on the Grobber.

Update on coffeegate: On this morning's show, Grote and Rosenbloom replayed the B&B clip. Rosenbloom claims that he makes a pot of coffee every morning at 4 AM... he puts his cup underneath the spout until it is full, and then puts the pot underneath. He thinks he may have misaligned the pot with the spout, but Les clears him by saying it was clean as a whistle at 5 AM.

Update: Spiegs screwed up today and put his cup underneath the spout, then somehow got distracted, and the entire pot brewed all over the counter. Of course, it was too close to on-air time for him to clean it up, so he "asked" someone else to do it for him. Parkins basically shamed him into ponying up some money for making someone else play the part of washerwoman since it dripped into the cabinets and went everywhere. Another person burned their hand trying to move his coffee cup since it had been on the heat plate for sometime.
