But Mulligan is awful. |

The only thing that bugs me about Mulligan (when I actually have a chance to hear the show) is that he tends to go "THE SCORRRRRRE" in this weird guttural growl. Other than that, I don't mind him, or Brian Hanley, for that matter. |

Curious it's funny you mentioned that. Whenever I'm listening to the show I reach for the button to change as soon as possible when I know they're going to commercial so I can avoid hearing that. Why the hell does he do it anyways? It's almost as fake and forced as when Murph is trying to act like a friendly, happy go lucky guy all the time. |

Yeah. There is something about Mully that bugs me too. I also hate when he goes "we now go out to the phone lines" when he has a guest on the line. You say that when you go to callers and use the plural "phone lines". Don't say that when you go to guests. Just say "we are now joined by". I know it doesn't matter but it bugs me. He also says "and um, and um," while he speaks. He does it alot. That's annoying too. |

His "whoaaa unbelievable" is the worst catch phrase ever |

In all fairness, however, I must point out that this is sort of their off-season right now, with the NFL draft over and waiting for training camp. I actually think that this show is one of the top three or so in Chicago. |

Yeah...I think its a good show too. I think their humour is more subtle than some other shows which is maybe why it isn't popular with some... |

I finally got to listen to some mid day sports talk. The show is solid but unspectacular. It's nice to hear hosts who actually have intimate knowledge of their subject matter. |

I think it's easily the best sports talk show in the city. As dolphin says, it's refreshing to hear hosts who are actually, I don't know, informed. And they are funny, too, though their funniest stuff flows from the shifting tone of the show rather than their "bits", which frequently fall flat. |

I agree. They know their subjects, they check the ego at the door (the only other sports radio personality I think this can be said about would be Carmen DeFalco), and the show can be hilarious at times. Mully and Hanley are a welcome alternative to most sports radio in that they come across as "seen-it-alls" rather than "know-it-alls." |

There is so little sports talk I can even listen to that I am happy to have Mully & Hanley on the air. They know their stuff, they aren't arrogant about it and it actually is fun to listen to. I'm not listening for shock and awe. I want to know what is going on and go one level deeper than I can get elsewhere. They do that. Mulligan is actually one of the smarter guys on sports radio and brings civility to a medium that often is offensive to the listener. |

Agreed. Best show on the Score. I used to be a big B and B fan, and I just can't listen anymore. |
