a lot going on from someone with so little going on. I listened to the whole thing but at 5x speed for my sanity:

Brando was mad that M&H led with questions about the lack of cinderellas in this year's tourney, and if NIL and transfer portal was the cause of that

If his point was that this was a fluke or at least premature, fine. His assertion that Arkansas was a cinderella story was so absurd even Mully easily called him out on it.

But since Tim Brando is a MAGA piss baby from way back (even before MAGA...just google it), he went to their playbook: feeling aggrieved. He was mad that people who don't pay attention to college basketball (to him, everyone at a major outlet and/or in a big city) were questioning the sport at all. And there was a comment about "politics" in that just like how "flyover country" gets no attention to college basketball versus the NBA, red state political issues (I bet it's not farm subsidies!) are ignored as well. Just another example of how these people, even after dominating nearly all levels of government, will never be satisfied.

He didn't threaten Haugh's children or anything, but I'm going to write to the station to suggest he never guests again. He clearly isn't interested in talking about what they want him to, and in fact is angry about doing so, so why is he even invited?

sounds like Tim still proudly displays his confederate flag in his home. he sounded agitated he had to talk to a radio show in a "blue state"... very bizarre.

after the first 5 minutes he calms down and it gets back to being a boring conversation that is more befitting of this morning show's MO

I don't listen much but I listened to that. That was nuts.

It was so crazy to hear Mully wind up one of his 5 minutes questions and you can feel the question finally coming on, he was almost there, and Haugh cut him off. I hope Mully is OK and not experiencing blue balls after that one.

The unintentional humor is exactly what you don't get from any other 670 show, which keeps people listening. If you PTB you'll never know if Mully completes his question.

we already have a thread that focuses on Mully's interview "questions". spolier alert... he never finishes a question as a question. he just eventually stops talking and the guests are sharp enough to formulate a response to what they think the question was
