The Score is fine from 6-9...but at 859 i can't wait to change the dial to hear someone not yelling because it seems cool.

This morning I flip on The Score and get Tom Thayer & Zack with guest Jeff joniak talking for an hour about the Bears. A nice change of pace from Baseball. I flip over to WMVP and hear the 2 ESPN subs (Trey and TIm) talking about the A's trade of another starting pitcher. A little later, Thayer is breaking down the Bears QB competition and on WMVP...Peter Gammons on the All Star Game. In the 8 O'clock hour The Score returns to the 1st place Cubs and Sox & WMVP...more All Star game. How North lost this battle I'll never understand. |

I'll tell you why...Because "The SCORE" wanted North to be a poor man's Don Imus ramblin' about politics and other non-sports related topics! When I listen to 670, I want to hear the hosts and callers talk about Chicago's teams, players, coaches and sports period! |

Never thought I'd see where Zack & Tom Thayer would be winning any kind of radio "war" At least they got Hub off, that was brutal |

Thayer does some great interviews. While surely not knowledgabe in baseball and hockey, he held his own better than other former football players turned radio hosts. |

I like Hub for the most part. Hub and Zack ("Tomzak") are good, but Hub needs to get off his high horse at times. That's what got him in trouble with the Dick Jauron radio show back in the day. "I'm on that show, but it's not my show." You mean the Dick Jauron show? |

Hub is eletist, but he worked well with Thayer. Put Thayer with Holms during true football season (starting in Nov) and you'll do great books for the entirety... |
