While I don't have confidence about this Bear offense, we can give the team Angelo has asembled another chance. When you go to a Super Bowl you get a mulligan. That was 2007, now we are in 2008. WR's, QB's, RB's have all been in question marks since Angelo has arrived. While I understand the "Who could we have got?" arguement in any one year, this has been 5 years now. While Ced Benson was a peice of shit, Angelo not only drafted him, but promoted him by shipping out Jones.

I really do like Matt Forte from the little I have seen, so I will give him a chance, same with Lloyd, Booker, K. Davis, etc.

But at some point I want to hear some serious HARD CORE criticism of Jerry Angelo. Make it factual and LOUD. Just by making it factual, you have upgraded the quality of the morning broadcast. I am not looking for OUTRAGE just to get ratings, I am looking for some PASSION! some ANGER.

If they do great, feel free to Praise Angelo , apologize, send gifts, etc.

I think Angelo is a smart guy, but he's had wayyy too many draft busts. Considering that the draft is the only way to really build a good team in the NFL, that's not acceptable.

Look at the Colts - as recently as last year, 100% of their starters, all 22 from Offense and Defense, have spent their entire career with the team.

If it hasn't exploded yet, it soon will. GM Jerry Angelo's decision NOT to pursue any premium free agents & remain frugal with Mike McCaskey's $$$$ will come back to haunt the Chicago Bears on the field. They didn't do the homework on OT Chris Williams, the #1 pick & his back injury shortly after he signed on the dotted line at the start of training camp. Bear fans were piercing QB Rex Grossman's ears with boos for every incompletion & hurry in last night's 37-30 preseason loss to the 49ers. The running game seems to be a work in progress, while he didn't do nearly enough to rebuild the offensive line & the receiving corps suck, even though Devin Hester just got his $$$$ & allowed Bernard Berrian to sign with division rival Minnesota! Defensively, millions have been invested on LB Brian Urlacher, Lance Briggs & DT Tommie Harris...Can't anyone tackle? It's gonna be a long season on the lakefront...

The fact is that Jerry's drafts have not worked out enough to support this team, thus he was forsed to pay big money to guys that don't wrap up, namely Lance Briggs.

I would love to know what happens when the coaches watch film with Briggs and they see him try to throw his shoulder into guys? and his hands are literally at his sides? Do they scream at him and show the video, rewind, play, rewind, paly, rewind, play. Tell him he will sit next game and Jamar can play?
