Trey, there are all kinds of interesting radio. It ranges from the perfect factual content to the absurd watching a train wreck unfold. Controversy fits in somewhere in the middle and a healthy dose of it is good. I'd submit that M&H and B&B and others have a liberal dose sprinkled throughout, perhaps not enough to your liking, but its there in appropriate amounts. Now, for my money (I know radio is free), M&H have as much current first hand knowledge of their subject as any sports talk show on the dial...hands down. They have first person coverage of two of the three (maybe four) major sports in town. They are both intelligent, funny, and decent in their treatment of listeners...which is very unique in that business. I had the privilege of attending one of their Boys Nights Out and they are the kind of people who you would want to be friends with. Enough said.

Now, if you are looking for some good radio, check this out:

and listen to the segment from today 9/19/08.

B&B had a good one a few years back when Kendra Davis (Antonio's wife) came on after the controversy of Antonio jumping in the stands to defend her against a fan who she got into an argument with (the fan ended up being David Axelrod's son.)

I get Trey's gist, but that Portis thing got boring after the first minute.

Very much like a Mike North 'debate' when Mitchell started in with the 'let's not go there because I know things'
