Mully told us all during the sign-off yesterday that he's taking days off, and specifically said he's not suspended.

He did, however, apologize for something he said. Anybody know what was so egriegious?

If the station suspended him for saying something he shouldn't have, don't you think it would want those offended to know that it took immediate steps to rectify the situation?

Or are you so fuckin' stupid that you didn't think of that?

As noted above, Mully joked on air that he had been suspended, but it was clearly tongue-in-cheek. On monday Hanley related that Mitch had received phone calls from local media inquiring as to the reason for Mully's suspension...and again Hanley confirmed that Mully was actually on vacatoin with his family (I'm guessing it may be spring break for his kids). As for the apology comment; it was just part of the joke.

I don't know what was said, but "Mully's" on vacation the rest of this week. The Sun-Times' Brad Biggs sat in with Hanley this morning, while Zach Zaidman sits in tomorrow & Friday. As an added "bonus", they're video streaming the "M & H" show tomorrow morning at 670thescore.com...

Seeing Zack Zaidman on a video stream is not an added bonus. In fact him being there will stop me from wanting to listen online in the office.

I put "bonus" in quotation marks for a reason, Douchebag. When I think ZZ, I immediately think of Ron Howard from when he was on "Happy Days"...

Sorry for not listening to every waking moment like you do Chimpo, so I can go on some message board and correct everyone else.

My response wasn't to correct you, Halfpint, but to respond to WWN and hopefully answer your valid question at the same time. You'll notice I had a question, too, so I obviously don't listen every waking hour hoping to get some inside scoop to zing you all with.

Don't be so sensitive.

For what it's worth, the one called "The Viper" for reasons I can't answer sits in for "Mully" Monday morning with Brian Hanley on "The SCORE". That's what the folks on "The Joker's Wild", I mean "Chicago Tribune Live" on Comcast SportsNet, refer to as Trib columnist Rick Morrissey.
